  1. Thanks revat! I realized after I made the comment that CGC does not slab these kinds of trading cards. Kind of surprised Marvel and DC cards weren’t the first on their list. Looks like I’ll have to look at other venues.
  2. What is everyones' thoughts on sending in some of the Pirsm Spider-Man cards to CGC for grading(1992 Mcfarlane and 30th anniversary cards)? The difference in a graded vs raw is a 10:1 value and the ones I have are not in bad shape at all. They've practically been kept in sleeves and card holders for 25+ years.
  3. LMAO Thanks for the chuckle, had no idea these even existed. And looks I have two of them. I've also been doing some of my own homework and a lot of the Marvel hologram sets are worth a decent penny. A few of the 6 card sets can be found sold around $60-80.
  4. My dad collected all of these before I was old enough to know what they are. I knew he was always a huge fan of big boxing matches, followed high school wrestling, and enjoyed some DC/Marvel shows and comics. He once told me he had a collection of trading cards but never understood the extent of it until recently.
  5. Thanks guys! Here is my collection uploaded. Star Wars: https://imgur.com/a/stkNVkj https://imgur.com/a/bROQZxH Topps Chewing Gum: https://imgur.com/a/jdTvltZ Boxing: https://imgur.com/a/neVPneZ https://imgur.com/a/XpZwQbN https://imgur.com/a/sur330j Marvel/DC: https://imgur.com/a/5evMfVO https://imgur.com/a/JbjubMb https://imgur.com/a/1s96MeO https://imgur.com/a/72XDeaQ https://imgur.com/a/EN7wfw9 It was difficult to take photos of the hologram card so if you need a specific picture of one just let me know. Also if you see multiples of the same card it means there are duplicates.
  6. Thanks! Do you know of a forum here where I can post my collection to see if any of them are worth something? Still not sure if I should sell as complete sets or singles.
  7. Hello all. I have inherited roughly 5,000 trading cards from my father spanning over about 8 card binders. They range from Star Wars to Marvel to DC to old boxing cards to 1979s Topps Chewing Gum. From what I can see they are mostly complete sets and in near perfect condition. I have taken over 500 photos of them all and curious where I should go from here and if I have any gems hiding inside. Where is the best place to upload the images? Is it better to sell them as a complete set or individually? thanks for all and any help!
  8. Oh well.. I hardly come around these parts and when I do its in PGM forum. Frustrating the signup thread was posted on a completely different board.
  9. Damn... am I really too late to sign up? I was just about to submit my grades to you. Ugh!
  10. I can’t imagine this would grade any lower than a 7.0 considering the otherwise pristine condition of the magazine. If you end up sending it off to CGC please update us with the final grade.
