  1. How did the piece fall off? You seem to have failed as the guardian of the book.
  2. Are you planning an anniversary party for tomorrow?
  3. I never cared for Wizard. I preferred my customers to buy comics, not magazines about comics. A yearly subscription to CBG wasn't much more than two issues of Wizard and was a better investment, imo. It struck me as a Junior Maxim.
  4. Thor seems to have spent the GA going to medical school.
  5. Batman would stomp all over Moon Knight, but Marc would think he won.
  6. I'd go with The Juggernaut. Ben's power in the early FFs was only a fraction of its later level. The Super-Skrull bears witness to that. In his first encounter, he had matching strength with The Thing, but by the 80s, he wasn't in the same league.
  7. The original 4 mil mylar bags are expensive and you still need a back board. I use 2 mil mylar , as it is much cheaper.
  8. You might try Gary Dolgoff. He's in Western Mass, or was when we last spoke. My gut feeling is you are going to struggle to get a decent price. Shipping those books will add too much to the cost for most dealers,I suspect. Your best bet might be if you are willing to deliver the books or meet halfway.
  9. Where are you located, and are the books bagged, boarded, and in some sort of order?
  10. As far as I know, CGC doesn't have a stance on digital codes. A book with them is treated the same as a book without them. I don't think they would be worth grading.
  11. Could the movie be any worse than the trailer?
  12. Why? Are you afraid he will scam them? Your posts in this thread are in poor taste.
  13. I sent Bob $100 and asked him to send me some Avengers issues. The box I got included Avengers 51-63, with the keys missing. Also in the box was a GA book worth more than the $100 I'd sent. Perhaps it was your lost book. I forget what it was, but Bob told me to just keep it. I meant to send him some money for it, but I never did.
  14. collectinsure charged me a 15% surcharge on my policy because some was in a storage unit. I don't think they distinguish between comics and art, but am not much of an art collector.
  15. It looks like the black should be first, the red on top of it . His book seems to have extra black added on top of the white writing, where it doesn't belong.
  16. I have that Wave Warriors as a VG, so I might have hit the wrong key. It was just a bunch of modern drek that I paid four cents each for, but it was eye-opening and most likely will be the last time I send in any books under that phase of their business. I have a few lots coming up in auctions. Hopefully I get closer to the prices I was expecting. I absolutely believe the books they buy as VG are sold as VG, and every other grade. That is not an issue. I appreciate that someone from MCS reached out and asked me if I wanted the books back. I can't say enough about their customer service.
  17. MCS has the Archie 3000, which you value at $37 for $4 in VF. While they don't have that issue in a CPV, they have other CPVs from that run going for less than $5.
  18. Marvel. Rocket Racoon vs. Rocky the Flying Squirrel?
