  13. In ancient Egypt, there were collections of books gathered throughout the world which ultimately provided some of our great primary historical sources to this day (for example the Nag Hammadi library). It is fair to say collecting has deep historical roots.
  14. Counter-point: most art is done digitally and the hand-created vintage art market has been (mostly) healthy. Also, most people pay with plastic, and vintage physical coins are (mostly) doing well.
  15. One could imagine that Chuck, having discovered and set free the Edgar Church collection, might have a sensitivity to selling at market prices based on that experience. However, there is a vast difference between the market then and now, and the rarity of the different inventories cannot be compared.
  16. FF48 seems to be on a multi year decline in price. While it is selling, this suggests qSupply is trending ahead of qDemand. (Utilized 4.0 since its the most common, price patterns also show in other grades)
