  1. Ok, these are the last of my Bruce Timm pieces in my collection. I’m always on the lookout for a published interior page but those seem to be quickly getting out of my reach.
  2. And here are the ones in my current collection. As you can see I upgraded some of the same characters.
  3. Thanks Subby, yeah and these are the ones that I have sold off or traded. Acquired them all directly from Albert Moy.
  4. It’s been a long time since I’ve been on the CBC boards but when I saw this topic, I thought I’d share mine. I’m first going to start of with some Tim’s that I used to own.
  5. Hi everyone, I have several Auctions ending this evening with ComicLink and thought I'd point out some of the highlights: Matt Wagner Batman/Grendel page from the first issue from the first mini-series. The page features Bruce Wayne in the Batcave at the Batcomputer and then working out. Nice 1/3 splash of the Batcave featuring the giant penny, the dinosaur, the bat-costume and Bruce at the monitors. Howard Chaykin oversized Shadow page (approx 13"x19") with the Shadow and Mavis Lockhart in the flying car over New York City skyline. Thrillkiller #1, page 1 splash painted by Dan Brereton featuring the Elseworlds versions of Batgirl & Robin cast in shadow in the foreground with a beautifully painted Gotham street scene. An oversized painted page by John Estes from Batman/Deadman: Death and Glory Graphic Novel featuring Batman. 2 Adam Hughes illustrations, one a 8.5x11" cover prelim to Wonder Woman #144 and the other a vintage Phantom Lady pencil piece, also 8.5"x11". 2 Eduardo Risso JSA All Stars pages from a 6 page Dr. Midnite story featuring a Femme Fatale. 3 consecutive pages from the original 1960's Teen Titans series. Pencils are believed to be by Frank Springer with definite finishes by Nick Cardy. Joe Kubert Hawkgirl illustration from 1992. Chris Samnee illustration of Batman in a moment of reflection, from 2017's inktober challenge. For those of you who followed these auction, these little pieces went for a lot. Frank Robbins Man from Atlantis page with Mark and a female warrior. 2 Black Canary commissions, one painted one by Joe Pekar and the other by Ale Garza. Scott McDaniel Nightwing issue #17 page of Nightwing battling Man-Bat. George Perez Secret Origin Annual pinup of the original Teen Titans villain, the Gargoyle, the badie from the 3 vintage Cardy pages listed above. Lastly, a Steve Rude painting of a woman.

  8. Hey guys, I’ve got an amazing original piece of art by Dave Gibbons of Nite Owl from Watchmen drawn back in 1986. It’s a full figure on 11”x14” sheet of paper from a sketch pad. It’s signed and dated by Gibbons. This was Dave donation to the San Diego Comic Con Art Auction that year. Yes, back in the day before the show got too crazy they help an art auction, just like Heoes Con. I had lost out on the Steve Rude Mr. Miracle piece, so bought this as my consolation price. ? here’s the link, the auction end tomorrow, probably during a playoff game, knowing my luck: https://www.ebay.com/itm/DAVE-GIBBONS-1986-WATCHMEN-NITE-OWL-11-X14-SKETCH/122914412696?hash=item1c9e451898:g:tPcAAOSwRTVaW-I2 while you’re there, check out my other auctions. I have the best Wolverine animation cel from the “Pryde of the X-Men” pilot with Storm on the auction block this one ends tomorrow as well. Thanks, John
  9. I'll check them out. I don't recall seeing them and I've been to your gallery often.
  10. Hey there everyone, been a real long time since I posted on the boards, but I've got 5 pieces up for auction in the Comiclink ending tonight. All these pieces have been in my collection for 15-25 years, and I rarely sell or trade my good stuff, so don't miss out on your opportunity to lock it in your vault for the next quarter century. Up for auction is the 2nd best Brian Bolland cover from the 1st ever Robin series. There were only 5 issues and this is the only one that give a full good look at Robin's then new costume: http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2FAuctions%2Fauctions_first.asp&id=1213832 Next up is a Bloom County Sunday with Opus in every panel (a foot counts in the last one, right?). You don't see many of these show up these days. BTW, this one is signed by creator Berkeley Breathed when he was at a bookstore in Brentwood, California, several years back: http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2FAuctions%2Fauctions_first.asp&id=1213838 Also available, is a great montage splash page of Green Arrow by the highly underrated Trevor Von Eeden, co-creator of Black Lightning, this splash features to large images of Oliver Queen in full classic Green Arrow costume. I've only ever seen two other Von Eeden Green Arrow splashes, and one is in my collection and the other Romitaman sold for around $2500. Don't know why DC hasn't put out a trade of all these great 80's Arrow stories from Detective, Wolrd's Finest and the Green Arrow mini-series but they should: http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2FAuctions%2Fauctions_first.asp&id=1213837 This year is the 25th anniversary of the premiere of the Batman: Animated Series by Bruce Timm, Paul Dini et al. Back when Bruce was working on the designs of the characters, he recruited a few talented comic artists to help contribute to the look of the show. As many know, Mike Mignola's Mr. Freeze design was used and loved by all, and Kevin Nowlan sent in many great designs that were also used, including, Man-Bat and Killer Croc. https://13thdimension.com/kevin-nowlan-lifts-the-cowl-on-his-batman-animated-designs/ I picked up this great Batman illustration of Batman that he did for the show for Scott Dunbier, back when he was a dealer and have had it ever since, until now: http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2FAuctions%2Fauctions_first.asp&id=1213833 And lastly, up for auction is a tight finished prelim by DREW STRUZAN, of this famous 1970's Thought Factory Batman poster, one of the early first realistic depiction of Batman. I'm many of you, like me, had this hanging on your wall when you were young. This is from one of Struzan's first assignments and from what I've been told, the final painted posters have never been seen, and that Drew does not have them: http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2FAuctions%2Fauctions_first.asp&id=1213834 Thanks for checking them out and good luck to everyone tonight. There's a few pieces I'm hunting as well.
