  1. Dan is responsive and shipped an expensive book safely and securely. I would do business with him again.
  2. Hard to tell from these photos. Are you trying to grade to resell or for your personal collection? Looks like a higher grade copy from the photos, although pictures like this are harder to see compared to high res scans. That said, not sure it has much value if you catch a 9.0-9.6, but if you’re okay with those grades for your personal collection then the value doesn’t really matter.
  3. Tough to grade which is why I see this thread is a ghost town. Subscription creases are usually killers, I think that usually brings a book down to 5.0 max, but don’t quote me. Probably in the lower grade range imo with the subscription crease and other defects.
  4. Yep, likely a green label which lowers the value. Less demand for green label books compared to blue labels.
  5. Difficult to tell from that photo. Would need to see high quality photos up close + back cover to estimate the grade and estimate the price.
  6. Indeed a sweet copy of an awesome book!
  7. I bought a book from a very large comic website that most here probably know. It was a flash 123 and this was early in my comic collecting days. I sent it to cgc and it came back restored with slight amateur color touch. Not exactly an apple-to-apples comparison with the buyer here not properly inspecting their book, but in my case, this reputable seller offered a full refund on the restored book as they sold it to me as unrestored. I ate the CGC and shipping costs, which some have suggested here is what they consider a fair outcome. I felt this was a fair enough outcome for me, and feel the seller was as accommodating as they could be. I respected their customer service as they took ownership for not catching the restoration. I think them paying the cgc fees is a tough ask from a buyer’s perspective. I would’ve loved if they accommodated, but they sold me a raw book and I decided to get it graded. Not sure what would have been the “morally right” outcome on the cgc costs, but I was just happy to get out of the book cost.
  8. Sweet books good luck with the sale!
