  1. Congrats... wish I had them... so I could make sure they are all indexed in the GCD. https://www.comics.org/
  2. Wait.... I thought you just went to the center of the magazine (where the peg is) and pull the peg out from the middle of it and it flexes out of either end?
  3. Shatter #9 June 1987 ? https://www.comics.org/issue/266734/cover/4/
  4. Underground Comix are known for using different prices, covers (art or color variations) and interior content to distinguish different printings. 1st print from Apex Novelties, October 1968 has 0.25 USD cover price. Has single image across pages 10-11. 2nd print has 0.25 USD cover price. Image is now printed sideways on page 11. Another image added to page 10. 3rd print has 0.25 USD cover price. Page four image now has "Git Whitey". In 1972 Print Mint took over production, moving the actual printing to a commercial printing plant. 4th print June 1972 and 5th print (1973) both have 0.50 USD cover price and said to be indistiguiable from each other. 6th print 1973 has 0.75 USD cover price.
  5. So, I stopped by again today... waiting on the #2s. Talked with the supervisor of the self-checkout area and she mentioned that someone other than a Walmart employee does the stocking for the card/collectables/comics area and hasn't been there yet. So I guess I can't 'blame' Walmart for the lack of or otherwise DC Comics situation.
  6. Yeah, stopped by mine today, Wednesday, and no #2s yet, but restock on the #1s - they were all pretty sharp (no bent corners), including 2 Teen Titans #1s.
  7. Back in 2009, I had a tattered run of these that I pulled all the Hembeck pages (plus the Annuals) and had them bound. Each 2 page spread is bound on the left and folds out to the right.
  8. Thank you for this. I have edited the information on the GCD.
  9. Titan Books 1-4, 1988. Still looking for 1, 2, & 4 of the Signet Books (from the mid 60s).
  10. Mine arrived this morning. Got the Jungle Adventures Vol. 2 THANKS DR. X!
  11. Sorry for no pics... My SS was DeadOne. He sent me a dozen Horror magazines, all of which I didn't have! The 1973 Nightmare Winter Special - with a Scarecrow story, of which I was happy to discover (there was this creepy old Scarecrow in the back of one of the sheds on my Grandpa's farm which supposably was made by his Grandfather, so very old and creepy, he used to drag it out to the front of his house every Halloween). Nightmare #14 &15, Masters of Terror #1 featuring Theodore Sturgeon's It!, Tales of the Zombie #1 !!!, and Weird Vampire Tales V3N2. All excellent magazines. Also some Monster/Horror magazines (a la Famous Monsters of Filmland) that are mostly articles (with some stories). Monsters of the Movies #1 and #1 Annual. Castle of Frankenstein #s 15-17 and 23. I would see the Castle of Frankensteins at shows, but never decided to pick them up - now I will have to look for and acquire more! Thanks Bryan!!!
  12. Could one of you Northerner / Canuckians / whoever send down some snow... we need some down here in Iowa.
