Late to the party...but great pick up! Which pages/stories still need to be identified? I started collecting Archie comics and related merchandise over 25 years ago, but only recently started collecting original art. My focus so far has been 1950s Bob Montana's comic strip art, 1960s-1970s Filmation animation cels, merchandise/promotional art, and modern Christmas covers and interior pages.

PGM Archie Club Magazine December 1949
archiecomicscollector replied to ComicSpa's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
I haven’t seen this particular issue, but I have seen a few occasionally pop up for sale at auction. Multiple issues of the title were published between 1948-50. CGC denotes the title as Archie Your Official Store Club Magazine, while Overstreet has it listed under Archie Shoe-Store Giveaway. -
I won both Welch’s jelly jar glass illustrations (I didn’t snag the ad though). I’m surprised a few pieces didn’t go for more than they did. But then others went for far more, definitely shocking.

Collecting one and only one title
archiecomicscollector replied to The lips's topic in Comics General
All my comics, excluding the first appearance of Cheryl Blossom, are raw. I keep getting outbid on Comic Connect, HA, etc. for graded Golden Age comics. I haven't submitted any to be graded, due to the long wait times. -

Collecting one and only one title
archiecomicscollector replied to The lips's topic in Comics General
I've only ever collected Archie titles (over 20 years), and right now I'm focused on completing the following runs: Archie's T.V. Laugh Out, Everything's Archie, Life With Archie, Katy Keene, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, and She's Josie / Josie and the Pussycats. -

Very cool! I've never seen this before! I'll definitely have to keep an eye out for one now for my collection. -
Would you buy a slabbed book with brittle pages?
archiecomicscollector replied to Bo_Hogg1's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I think the only way I'll ever be able to afford an Archie #1 is if it is brittle -

Got a comic room??? Showcase it here!
archiecomicscollector replied to Johnny G's topic in Comics General
I wish! My oldest Archie is featured at the top of the rack - Archie #18 (1945). I usually only buy comics locally, so I'm looking forward to going to comic shows and conventions again soon! -

archiecomicscollector replied to Johnny G's topic in Comics General
Some of you may recall that I started my comic/toy room - focused entirely on my extensive Archie collection - a year or so ago...well I finally got around to buying more cabinets, framing posters and original art, and then organizing it! The cabinets are Ikea Billy Bookcases with Glass Doors (3) and a Kolbjorn Shelf Unit (1). Most of my artwork by Dan Parent is leaning against the wall on Amazon's Weiai Clear Acrylic Shelves, as I wanted flexibility to rotate/display future art purchases. The spinner rack is non-branded, but holds an impressive amount of comics (I hope to buy a comic rack featuring Archie someday). The bench cushion and curtains feature vintage-inspired Archie fabric, and, as I work with archival material regularly, the curtains (which include black-out panels) and blinds are normally closed to prevent light damage. -

Comic book spinner racks - who's got one?
archiecomicscollector replied to Quicksilver Signs's topic in Comics General
@BGPhilbilnI have a non-branded, no-signage spinner rack. I would love to add one that features Archie to my collection, but I haven't come across one in my area.
