  1. Is it possible to resubmit a Yellow Label Slab to CGC for Pressing? Just another case of a Blue Label 9.8 coming back signed as a 9.6. Thank you
  2. I had a Blue Label 9.8 Something is Killing the Children #1 get cracked at signed at a CGC Certified signing (not in-house). It came back a Yellow 9.0. There is a new crease on the back cover. I understand this happens, as horrible as it sounds. I have been told to submit it to CCS for a press and it will retain the Yellow Label. I do not see instructions on the CCS form to complete this. Any ideas? Thank you.
  3. I spoke to LCS and I believe neither of us were aware that they would accept the book still in the slab. Learning situation for both of us. Thanks. I'm still speaking with my CGC contact about options, but looking like resubmitting again for 50-50.
  4. Jason4, by all means, if they DO send me the books that I originally ordered, I don't have a problem releasing the funds, as that was the original deal. But as I said, its been 2 weeks and all I have heard is crickets. BBB is my next step. Thank you.
  5. So my query here was initially because a Blue Label grade I would keep for my collection, and was hoping with a press to get a small bump in grade. Now, I don't necessarily want this book. I am considering resubmitting later this year, as I have heard about graders being very tough this summer at CGC. But it is what it is...
  6. Ok, My local Comic shop and I cracked the case. (I'm not sure if CGC offers that service...) The book was meticulously removed as I was right there and impressed with how secure those cases are. We had ZERO mistakes. The book was sent to CCS for pressing. I'm pretty sure I don't have any scans or photos of the book in its 9.0 state, may look into contacting the seller but it was several years ago. I have a name of someone in CGC that I was told could maybe help me, but not response as of yet. Not feeling great about this, ut I thank you guys for your opinions and advice.
  7. So as a follow up...they keep messing up. I had already make the choice to stop using Comicxposure months ago, but I did have a few orders "unfulfilled". Some came in fine, but my order of ASM 800 DellOtto Virgin Variant came delivered as the trade dress version, NOT virgin. They even changed the description and photo on their website. I lit them up on FB using words like FRAUD, THEFT, DISHONEST. I actually got a response, saying that some books "aren't final art, and that cover photos may change. Simple Mistake." WTF? The issues I purchased they were asking $109.00 EACH. The issue that was sent, I can STILL buy at my store for cover price ($9.99). Their response was they would send the books I intended to order, and a few extras. That was 2 weeks ago, and now they don't answer social media or the original text they started. I did go through bank with a fraudulent claim, and got my money back, and will never use them again. Good luck! MAD!
  8. Hello, Thank you for reading this, I am new to these boards. Just curious my options when I resubmitted a CGC 9.0 Blue Label ASM 129 to be pressed and graded, and it came back Restored (PLOD) 8.5. Obviously its a worse case scenario in terms of the books value. Comparing it to other copies I cannot see it (Bottom Cover Trimmed, per label), nor can my LCS Dealer. Also, the 9.0 version had Off-White to White Pages, the 8.5 came back with White Pages. I get that there can be minor inconsistency. I am waiting to hear back from the grader, but a little bummed, and wanted to hear some opinions on what choices I may have. Thank you, MAD!
  9. Glad to see this thread. I am DONE with ComicXposure. Beside the 3-4 month lag on shipping items after they are released, I have had 2 back to back orders delivered with the wrong books, and not once have they replied to my emails, FB posts, or that silly phone number. So good luck to those that order thru them, but I have unsubscribed from their email lists.
