  1. Here are the last 2 from Bedrock. Both are slabbed file copies which I added to my registry set
  2. Scanning and re-bagging the the books that I got fro the PRE SDCC Torpedo show in Los Angeles Also just got in my latest trade with Essentially traded 13 long boxes of books for 13 books. All of these transactions are added to my various tracking methods. Attached is the spreadsheet I developed to attempt to have all the information for both series contained on 1 double sided page. I have modified this many time over the decade to track counts by 100's and ending digits and have noted BOLD for higher grade keepers and italics for books that I would like upgrades for.
  3. Well, Heritage is currently having a sale and not charging the seller's 10% on CGC books
  4. Thanks You are no small part of me reaching this goal and are in 7th place on my trade list I think I have about 1/2 of the missing four colors. Had no real idea about those until I read your research. I have another 8 in my hold cart on Here are a couple more from my trip down to Houston thanks to the long tall Texan.
  5. I have been selling through and trading with mycomicshop for several years. Actually planning on delovering a box with some of my better books to Heritage in Los Angeles for auction in either their weekly or their November catalog auction. Hopefully I will net enough to pay for the used electric car I boought for my wife last month
  6. Now that the first three phases of my year long home remodel project is finished I actually have access to my books again. did transactions with Bedrock, Terry's and Dave and Adam at the Torpedo pre Comic Con show and just pulled the trigger on another group from With all of those I have pushed my collection to 1219 issues, and virtually all of those from trading. Must admit pickings in my available stock is getting a bit thin. Can't remember when I last posted my Thank you list which has grown to 10 pages with nearly 50 different Trading Partners but here is the most up to date listing
  7. Wow this thread had fallen all the way to page 7. I took a trip to Houston to visit my mom who had relocated there last year. Had the opportunity to visit Bedrock's store and do a nice trade with him. Had not really added anything to my collection in over a year. Nice to find a decent Andy Griffith which is a hard book to find in any shape.

How about $125 in trade value towards something you want to pass on
  9. Astonishing Tales Lot Containing the following issues 3 5 10 11 12 12 14 16 17 19 22 23 32 34 35 With an average grade on this lot of VF guide should be about $300 How about $200 in trade

  11. here is the other high grade Casper lot from the early 70's This is Casper and Spooky and the run contain all 7 issues. Probbaly the best run you will ever find in one place
  12. The easiest way to trade might be for you to contact me if you have something on my want lists While working on a few deals here are a few more groupings that I am offering A very high grade group of Bronze Casper and the Ghostly Trio issues 1-7 of the total run of 10 books These were part of the Harvey warehouse find and are all beautiful unread books
  13. Here are the ear;per issues pg Casper and the Ghostly Trio
  14. I think these are all subscription copies, but they are all OO issues that I have had for over 50 years
  15. I never realized that this was a reprint. I was looking in the guide after I was this and found there were a total of 5 full reprints *and a couple of partials) with this being one of the earliest Oldest I saw was Snow White 382 which was a partial reprint of 49 Next Partial was 545 Pinocchio which was a partial reprint of #92 693 Song of the South was a partial reprint of 129 The best known full reprint is likely 668 which was the Dumbo with a different background cover,, but the same number. 682 Was a reprint of 505 Sword and the Rose, but with a different title There was 966 Tonka which changed titles to Comanche with the reprint at 1350, the next to last Four Color Then there was Donald in Mathmagic land which was 1051 and later 1198 1235 Mr Magoo was reprinted in 1965 several years after the end of the series, but with the same same number. Just a guess, but perhaps they were trying to cash in on the renewed popularity of Jim Backus after Gilligan's Isle. I will have to check to see if I have the Original or reprint Have a few of these scans handy, but not both versions of any at my fingertips
  16. And a few more from Terry Btw is anyone here fighting over the TWIST missing FC that Blissard has up for sale? Way higher tham I would have thought, even for a high grade copy
  17. I enjoy seeing a good Harvey cover, and actively collect the 3-D books along the way I picked up some nice Harveys that were part of there warehouse Some of these might contend for top of the census
  18. I have picked up a few multipacks over the years I have had many of these classics sets on display in a standing cardboard classics rack I also have a bunch of the harvey packs there as well
  19. so we must be about the same vintage Brian I was also buying from a spinner rack, or a magazine stand I know that i had a subscription to 3 books for a couple of years. Pretty sure that adventure was one of them These two were from a great 2 parter where they introduced 4 great members
  20. Legion is getting another boost on Supergirl this season with Nia Nal an ancestor of Dreamgirl (Nura Nal) being added to the cast Hope the books do not have to be in high grade to be appreciated here. The green dots indicate that these two are from my original collection, and less than a year after I got hooked on comics
  21. Thanks for catching that. Turns out the smudge is NOT on the comic, but instead was on the glass of the scanner. Wonder how many images had this until it was noticed. Guess it only really showed against a white background
  22. Trying to develop a better eye for sumbitting potential books for prescreen/grading I have almost a full set of this run that were untouched file copies. pages on most are very white. The number 1 does have a crease on the back cover but it is very hard to see in the scan Does seem to be some browning on hte back cover
  23. Nearing the end of my busy season at work, so I should have time to post some more items that are available. Currently working on 3 trades but always open to more Have the following CGC books that no longer fit my needs. Offering them here at $25 trade value for each or take all 5 for $100 ASM 58 3.5 Kamandi 1 4.0 Green Lantern(SA) 58 4.5 Daredevil 182 8.5 Star Trek(Gold Key) 47 9.0
  24. So I think I finally have everything contained on the 4 page tracking spreadsheet. Virtually all Editions are noted, with their HRN. O detones originals with no AD Changes of Art or Story are noted with the first HRN that contained the change For all but a few the Titles, the name is noted For my tracking Highlight in green means I have the issue in an acceptable grade Orange means that I have the issue, but would be happy to upgrade to a F or better. At this point I am only looking for first printings which is the first column
