Saw it today with my daughters. We all liked it, and I in a particular like it a more than the other recent MCU movies. Not sure if would have been confusing for those that haven't watched any of the corresponding Disney+ plus shows

I'm really enjoying the show so far, can't wait for next week's episode.

There's nothing fluid about it. And as a result, I don't feel his saber sequences translate well on screen. Conversely, Shin Hati's fights have been great because she moves as though there's a level of rage just boiling under the surface.
I saw someone that pointed out that he holds high lightsaber almost like a giant broadsword, as if there appears to be some "weight" to it. This is also reflected in the power in the strikes he uses against Ahsoka prior to her heading over the cliff. So his fighting form is reflected accordingly. I'm choosing to go with this theory.

Cool! Looking forward to this one

Well, it looks like Episode 2 has also been posted on Hulu. Haven't had to flip over to Disney+ - nor any promotion notes to do so. Though the screen advertisements note "Only on Disney+".
Maybe they'll add the rest if enough people watch on these channels? Only showing first 2 episodes so far

Just watched the final episode. Funny how of all the shows I was looking forward to on D+, this was probably at or toward the bottom of the list (but still wanted to see). But has turned out to be my favorite one so far. It's just great

Looks like next FA Cup match will be televised on ESPN

Episode 10 is another just fantastic episode. This series has become my favorite of the D+ Star Wars shows...and there's not even any lightsabers

This show is fantastic. Not sure how accurate or trustworthy this is, but there's a bunch of numbers! Didn't Ms Marvel have something similar (highest reviewed but less watched)?
'Andor' is the best 'Star Wars' show since 'The Mandalorian' — but the least popular (msn.com)

I think replay on ESPN2 tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. central (I think).
*Edit*: My cable guide doesn't show it yet, but it does show it when searching the programming. And it will be on ESPN+

Great show! Look forward to it every week now.

I don’t doubt that. People are also stupid. Have you met the general population? Isn’t Avatar the highest grossing movie of all time?
I liked the first Captain Marvel, in particular the themes around standing back up after being knocked down (in life, etc). Also enjoyed watching Ms. Marvel with my daughter, so very much looking forward to this sequel.

I finally remembered where I had seen them before, on the show "Royal Pains" on USA Network (from like 12 years ago). As a side note, I loved those "Blue Sky" era shows on USA - Monk, Psych, Royal Pains, Burn Notice. I really wish networks still made shows like that. Seems like everything now has to be so edgy or gritty, but maybe I'm just not finding them (or I'm too old now :) )

Watched this with my wife and teen daughter. We all liked it! (I'll always like a show more when we can enjoy it together). Looking forward to the next episode.

I've only watched the last few episodes once so far, so my details may be slightly off. However I do think that it doesn't stray so far from the OT (from a certain point of view). Some of these thoughts may be tenuous, but that's what I'm choosing to believe :)

He never saw Reva ignite the lightsaber. He just knew he was running away from some threat (possibly Tuskan Raiders), slipped and got knocked out, and woke back up at home
On 6/23/2022 at 12:00 AM, drotto said:2. Leia would not remember Obi-Wan after the events of this show?
But she did remember him, one of her first lines to Luke in ANH is "Ben Kenobi, where is he?!" I think Obi-Wan's line at the end of this show about keeping their connection secret to protect themselves leads to the wording of her "you're my only hope" message she stored in R2.
On 6/23/2022 at 12:00 AM, drotto said:3. Bale Organa is not this dumb. Calling Obi-Wan is a massive risk to Luke and Leia. No way he would risk it.
Agree with this, my thought was he was just so desperate by that point he wanted to do something. I guess it it was done so that the next point below can take place - leading to Reva's 'redemption'.
On 6/23/2022 at 12:00 AM, drotto said:4. Reva figures out who Luke is? Like 4 people know this. That is essential to the story in ANH. If she can figure it out, why does Vader never figure it out?
I think it was mentioned in an early episode that she saw the holocron's in the Jedi Temple...which could include the one Obi-Wan saw (in Ep III) with the emperor calling Anakin Lord Vader. Reva figured out the connection with Bail and Obi-Wan which is why she went after Leia. Reva then figured out about Luke due to Bail's dumb message and her knowledge that Anakin is Vader.
On 6/23/2022 at 12:00 AM, drotto said:5. If Vader had even a hint that Obi-Wan was still alive he would not have stopped looking period. Yet ANH clearly states he has been a hermit for years.
I believe that's why they show Palpatine basically 'leashing' him at the end of this episode
On 6/23/2022 at 12:00 AM, drotto said:7. Leia is not the same character here (not just being a younger version). She has abilities and knowledge that were never apparent before, and at 10!!!
Curious which abilities? I know some folks didn't like that she fixed the ship in Ep 5, but she wasn't able to do that until her pet droid pointed out what actually was broken. Prior to that, she was floundering.
On 6/23/2022 at 12:00 AM, drotto said:8. It castrates Vader. How can the greatest Villain in modern pop culture lose twice like this and with such a whimper at points (yes the I am too scared of fire and forgot how to use the force nonsense). It also makes him stupid, when people can figure out that easily who he is and who his kids are, yet he never does?
I think only one person has figured that out, and she was there when he killed her youngling friends, saw the holocrons at the Jedi temple, saw Bail's ill-timed message. Vader only lost to his old master, whom he had never defeated. He easily handled Reva, toying with her without even using his lightsaber

A great finale, and I loved this series. I thought it did a good job of filling in some of the perceived disconnects between the prequels and Episode IV, and I am really hoping for a season two.
Really enjoyed Ewan McGregor's acting (and others) this episode, and his dialogue with Darth and Leia was heartbreaking and touching. More, please

Its a shame Daniel Radcliffe can't find a good production to be in
On the other hand, quality has taken a huge nosedive
I'd like to watch this one...

THE MARVELS starring Brie Larson, Iman Vellani and Teyonna Parris (2023)

A main part of the movie is around a pair of bangles that is a large source of power (of which Ms Marvel has one and the villain has the other). I think it's touched about in the movie, but the series goes a lot more in depth on how Ms Marvel acquired hers...if you find that interesting like I do. So there may be some things around her history and family that are quickly glossed over in the movie. ScreenCrush does a real nice recap of the entire series:
I hadn't read the comics so I'm not sure how closely they follow her origin story there.
