You just have to check out before the coupon expires. The last time there was a coupon, I won an auction, and then added two BINs to the cart (use "Add to cart"). Then I checked out, applied the code, and paid in one transaction to have the coupon apply to all 3 items. This all has to be done before the coupon expires, and I don't believe it applies to shipping charges.

Also, if you were to get it graded, I think CGC puts the highest graded # on the sticker. So if the outside was a 8.0 and the inside was a 9.2, the grade listed would be a 9.2. Plus, as others have already stated, double-covers generally bring in higher prices.

Did he order them individually, or did he pay the extra $1.05 to get both at the same time :) Pretty cool though, I would have liked them!

Not sure if this counts, but I bought every different variant of the recent X-23 #1 that just came out. I have 19 out of the 20 variants I've found. Really will be just a one-time thing, but she's one of my favorite characters.

Picked this one up about a month ago because of the swipe. And of course it was a Simpson's book, so that helps.

Based on my reading these boards the past few months, you will probably have little recourse if the buyer wants a return. I've never sold comic books on eBay, but I have purchased quite a few, and I have received a few books that arrived damaged. They did appear to be shipping damage, as there were usually marks on the box, but in one case it was very well packed like you described (gemini mailer with additional cardboard). I do let the seller know immediately and sent pictures of the packing, and they typically offer the return/refund. One did later offer a partial refund in lieu of the return, which I accepted (since I think it would press out). I have never done a 'shakedown' about negative feedback, though, as that seems like bad form. I don't think I would ever initially ask for a partial refund either, as in most cases I'd rather just return the books. One seller did ask me to send the original packaging back, as I think he was going to file a claim with USPS.

It is a bit disheartening to just start getting into graded books, and then to have your first submission come back with filled with these things...

I think it is the seller responsibility. I had one that arrive cracked, and a small piece actually 'floating' inside the case. I contacted the seller and they were very good about offering a refund or replacement. They even paid the shipping back... Edit: They did have me open a return request through ebay, so it was all tracked there as well.

That's a nice frame/display! Is it UV glass? There's a window in the reflections, so I assume it gets some indirect sunlight, but the colors still appear very nice

They were probably referring to the mid-credits scene which was a "what the" moment for me. Then post-credits scene can probably be skipped/you tubed. My 9-year old daughter and me really liked the movie, and it had some laughs in our fairly crowded theater last Wednesday. It's nice to have a super-hero movie that does not necessarily involve an "end of the world" scenario...

I noticed this last night as well. Had something like 700 search results, but showed about 20...

Unless I'm misunderstanding the question, the cover is slightly shifted to the right on the 2nd two images, and it appears shifted enough so that the white space is now off the page when it was cut. You can also tell due to the lines immediately below the white space, as they barely show up on the bottom two. The left edge of the cover may or may not show a shift as well, since the size of the cut may be slightly different.
