    Four Color (1st Series) #13. I won this in an auction last week. I've got another 1st Series issue on order as well and will have 14 issues left from that series when it arrives.

    Thanks. It's a nice vg copy with everything securely attached. It definitely doesn't seem to show up very often so I was happy to get it.

    I splurged a bit and picked up a copy of Four Color #3 (1st series).

    Paramount Animated Comics #6 just arrived in the mail today to finish off that series for me.

    Four Color #247 arrived in the mail today. This was the highest number left on my want list so the highest number remaining is #219 Swee'pea.

    Four Color #4 arrived in the mail today. This brings my want list down to 31 issues for Series II. I have another one coming in the mail.

    Very nice. Congrats! The copy I have was graded at 5.5 by CGC, though the person that I bought it from had taken out of the container while retaining the label. Four Color #162 arrived today bringing my series II want list down to 34 issues.

    Four Color #302 arrived today so now the highest number remaining on my want list is #247 Flash Gordon. I need 25 issues from 1-99, 9 issues from 100-199, and then 5 issues from 200-247.

    I still have the Harvey Astro-Comics issues that I had as a kid, which included all of the ones from the later series. I bought a number of the earlier ones from Blissard to fill gaps, though I still need #5 from 1968 and #1,2 from 1970.

    Little Beaver is listed as appearing in early 1939 issues of Crackajack Funnies which included Red Ryder Sundays reprints from 1938 so the supposition that he was there from the beginning (or close to it) seems correct. Meanwhile, Four Color #694 arrived in the mail today and now the highest issue left on my want list is #302. I'm down to needing 42 issues from Series II.
