  1. Great approach, i've definitely found variety is key. At my last show I sold some Marvel Graphic Novels, I had them for a few shows. But this time around I decided to put them on the bottom of my wall. Because of the size and covers they drew attention and eventually sold. I'm also happy to here about the sale due to a customer request. I also keep a list of books people ask about and try to bring them to future shows, you never know.
  2. That is an excellent point @Sweet Lou 14, i'm new to the midwest and this is the first state i've lived in where a basement is even a possibility. I will have to get creative. I actually had to replace the sump pump right away, so that works. I'm hoping to keep most of my books up on shelving, and then use the main area for displays and shelving.
  3. Can I ask what type of information you are putting at the top of your sets? I'd like to start putting together sets for the shows I set up at, i'm just curious. Great journal by the way, really great information!
  4. Long time lurker, first time post-er. As far back as I can remember, I’ve wanted my own comic book room. As fortune would have it, with our new move, I now have an entire basement to house my collection! I’m hoping to document the transformation over the next couple months, with an anticipated fall completion date, to coincide with our first thanksgiving hosting both sides of the family, enjoy!
