  1. Wow, this is such a terrible community. First post from a new member and you treat it like this. Sad. Either way, i've designed and published plenty of print media ads and i can tell you without a doubt that there are a great degree of batches when printing, and that you don't print all of your desired copies in one sitting... unless you want to waste an ungodly amount of ink and money. Progressively calibrating printers and cmyk % and artwork tweaks always occur. If it isn't significant to collecting, then great! That's all i was looking for. Thanks for the warm welcome ppl!
  2. Well i was wrong on the "silver" but windering if there is a date of printing per batch? Seems like an intentional cover edit.
  3. I've noticed a major degree of variation between original print run copies of #361 on the rock to the lower right side of the cover. Some prints seem to show more of the artwork (larger white-space showing the background and shape and dimension of the rock) while others seem to cut off the space making the rock seem like a solid piece. The Second print run with grey background omits this space entirely. It's clear that the original artwork intended for the white space, as the rock is shaded and shaped to the gap, so not a print error... Is this an indication of print timing (prints are completed in batches) and more importantly, is the difference significant? See imgs!
