  1. No, I was unaware that I could request colors, otherwise I would have asked for white/silver on the darker parts on the other books I had done. There is black on black on two of them and very hard to see
  2. Here are pics of the book. The tear is in the top center with another damage spot directly on the opposite back side of the book. It was damaged when someone grabbed the book there and tore it. The spine ticks could well have been there when sent. This is UNACCEPTABLE that this was handle that poorly. There was no rip or damage like this to the top center when I sent it out.
  3. Apparently something happened with my Venom 1 that was as nice a book as I have in my collection. It's coming back as an 8.0 with multiple notes of damage and tears to it. This was not nearly the condition it was sent in. The book was bagged/boarded immediately after purchase and never even read or taken out until I moved it to the window bag. It was even packaged between slabs with cardboard/bubblewrapped/more packing material around the entire thing, then bubble wrapped again. Cardboard was bigger than the slabs so the books were secured with painters tape. I'm beyond confused and upset by this. The others are all 9.8's.
  4. I sent in some books for the Cates signing. One was a Venom number one from 2018, there was Zero damage to the book whatsoever the book has never been out of its bag and board from the moment I purchased it. Here are the grading notes that I just got. How the hell is this possible???? All the other ones were a perfect 9.8 that were in this submission. What happened to this book is my question
  5. Lots of convention submissions with San Diego and others going on all back to back to back would probably be the reason why right now.
  6. Cancel the sale, contact ebay and inform them of the issue. They may remove the negative as it was before the posted shipping date. The buyer is being an .
  7. Got ya beat. 4 books at CCS since 6/8/18 on same request then off to grading. 2 months solid so far forgot to add, another one got there about 3 weeks ago, still says "Rec CCS Required" and not "At CCS" like the first 4.
  8. Mine too. They probably lost the database for a bit.
  9. Got some beauties back. Some are for sale so I can pay for more to be graded for my collection, some I'm keeping for my collection. PM me if there is something you are interested in. My favorite one is the Batman Inc #2 variant.
  10. 10 slabs listed, some very rare modern age ones. God of War, Batman Beyond, Batman Inc, Walking Dead, Infinity War and more. Thanks for looking. My Ebay stuff
  11. Sonuva... I wish I had known that before I sent it out yesterday lol.
  12. Thank you. Contacted CS and Kevin was able to help me out. I sent him the photos and he said to send it on in with the same details and they will fix the error.
  13. Just got a book in from an ebay purchase. It's a 9.8 Lando #1 from the mini series, 9/15 print date, action figure variant. Unfortunately, the slab says it's Star Wars #1 action figure variant and 3/15 as the date. Looks like a mistake on CGC part. I notified the seller but I'm not asking for anything from them for it since I didn't really read the label closely. My only real question, is CGC required to put the correct label in there or would I have to pay for a re-slab?
