  1. After the first couple posts I realized I know what shop that is. A couple of weeks ago I went in there for the first time, and when I saw the first few faded books I figured they were from someone's collection the store bought. Then I looked down the wall and realized it wasn't just a few but 50-75% of them. I was shocked because the place is practically in a basement.
  2. My 6 year old daughter really became interested in comics when she saw her favorite character Chewbacca on one. At this point though, she enjoys going to only certain comic shops and it's pretty much the ones where she can look through the bins. They really aren't any fun for her when she has to have me look through everything for her. We went to a local show/con this past weekend where a couple of vendors had books lower, one with a "kiddie" box under the table, and she looked through the boxes for a couple hours.
  3. Here's my entry. I sold off my prized copy, that my 12 year old self saved up for months to afford, when I was in college and just recently picked up a replacement.
  4. Just getting back into collecting and grading just wasn't what I worried about as a kid (let alone being an actual thing 30 years ago). Picked this up to replace my prized 300 I sold off while in college. I've debated on having it pressed, since there are a couple indents(?) near the spine. The only other thing I noticed is the lower left corner, which is detailed in the second to last photo. Thanks in advance!
