2 Weeks at "Graded" 3 weeks at "verified" & 2 weeks (so far) at "graded". So much for 20 business days - unless there was a convention last month. At any rate, just trying to get a realistic turnaround time. Five weeks and counting so far.

I finally got my grades ... not as good as expected. Well, the results are in and I must admit I'm a little disappointed. Here's what I received: Witchblade #1 - 9.4 Witchblade #2 - 9.6 Spectacular Spider-Man #21 - 6.5 Amazing Spider-Man #185 - 7.0 I had no idea how the older two would come out but I thought the Witchblade books would be higher. Oh well, it is what it is. Better luck next time I guess.

Still Verified after 3 weeks :>( Man .... this is killing me. Verified on 3/30 and still waiting. I guess they are busy but I sure hope the rest of the process is faster.

Sent my first 4 comics the end of March Well, my first 4 were received and verified on 3/30. I don't have a large collection by any means but enjoy what I have. These will be my first graded comics so I'm very curious to see how they come out. The books I sent were: Witchblade 1 & 2 Spectacular Spider-Man 21 Amazing Spider-Man 185 I purchased the Witchblade books new and they have been bagged/boarded since they were bought. The other two were bought from a family member when I was a kid back in '79 or '80 for about $0.10 each if I remember correctly...I haven't been a kid for a while :-) They are far from perfect but still in pretty good condition so I chose them to get an idea of what the grades look like on the comics. I read an entry from another member new to CGC who compared the process to Christmas as a kid...I definately agree. The suspense is killing me. I am expecting good grades on the Witchblade books but have no idea what to expect on the Spidey books. Guess I'll find out soon enough. I'll let you know how it turns out.
