  1. Thanks for the CGC info...great hearing from "real deal" collectors! These comics came to me in order and these are "New" In clear plastic with boards. They are in order.....many missing...the super ones...but it will be fun to get into your world. Thanks so much! I am thrilled you sent me the informative e-mails!!!!!! Carol
  2. What to do? Just inherited 500+ comics Iron Man, Spiderman and about 100 Captain America. My friend was collector...bought one to save, perserve and file/ bought one to read. I only have the filed ones and they are brand new! (Or they look brand new...will have to send them in to get rated. I have looked at ebay and a few comic sites to see the market on some..many date to the early 70's. I am not a rich person. How should I proceed...with which GCG plan? ( I know I have a Spiderman 25th anniversary unopened. Don't have any of the first ones and can see that most of the most sought after ones are not there....still these are unread) Which CGC plan is the most economical? I have numbered everything. I don't have $500 to even start....should I just send one at a time? My husband is an illustrator/art director for CG graphics and worked on the first 2 Spiderman films at Sony Imageworks. He knows nothing about this stuff. Just thinks it is cool that we have this collection. Any input would be most appreciated! Carol
