  1. Hi all! On Ebay i have recently purchased Wolverine #1 (1982), however there is notable damage that wasn't disclosed in the pictures or description. I am fairly new to Ebay and still really want the book, so can anyone tell me the etiquette of sending a complaint to a seller and if partial refunds exist? Many thanks!
  2. Hi! I'm going to a convention soon where I'm hoping to get signatures from artists such as Jock and Charlie Adlard, but the covers of some of the comics I'm taking are mostly black or dark. I was just wondering if this will be a problem due to signatures usually being in black pen, or if coloured gel pens are often used on black ink. Thanks in advance!
  3. I tried putting two boards in a bag so both sides are acid free, but it took up so much space that it was very difficult to take the books out or put them back in. Will the tightness in the bag effect the comics at all because they will be compressed? If not I will definitely start doing this Ive got quite a few recent Marvel and The Walking Dead first appearances so hopefully you’re right!
  4. Thanks for the tips! I was hoping for an answer like this! It's great to hear that bagging is better than nothing at all, but I will still try to use boards much as I can for my favourite stuff I will ask next time I go in. Thanks!
  5. I was just about to bring up the board only being acid-free on one side too. I would try the two comics one board technique, but I'd be too scared to after everything I've heard about it online. Thanks for the link!
  6. Thanks for the advice! It looks like I won't be bagging most of my collection as it is mostly current stuff, but I'll save my bags and boards for my rarer stuff like I have been already
  7. Hi, new member here! If you just keep your comics in a bag will it decently protect it, or is the backing board truly essential too? Since I'm a younger collector its hard to gather enough money for both bags and boards along with the ridiculous Marvel prices!
