  2. Some silver age goodness, probably keeping Supergirl and selling Bizarro once the books are in my possession, should be delivered tomorrow hopefully. But willing to negotiate both books for pages, wraps or covers for All Star Comics 8, Sensation Comics 1,2 and Wonder Woman 1.
  3. SOLD for the exact price I wanted. Don’t know if the buyer is on the boards, if you are pm me.
  4. And that is why I made 2022 my last year selling on eBay. Nothing but a headache now.
  5. My goal is to grab a single page from either Sensation Comics 1 or Wonder Woman1.
  6. Detective Comics 29 (3rd Batman) I don’t really collect Batman because I just can’t afford it. I always wanted a pre- Robin comic. This page is close enough for me. My favorite panel is him slowly opening the window, the way his golden age cowl is drawn made him always look pissed off, I love it. Superman 1 Great piece, golden age Superman became my preferred version of the character in 2022. I didn’t realize how water down the hero became, a shame really. Action Comics 252( 1st Supergirl) I remember reading reprint silver age stories of Supergirl at the library. The way she had to hide both her identities up until AC 285 was an interesting take. Kara trying to help kids get adopted always made for a decent story. Never thought I would own a copy of her first appearance when I was younger.
  7. Seems to me folks toss up books just to flex. They know the price listed is ridicules but to them who cares "I have it and you don't." I also think a lot of big books are listed just for bait, to get some eyes on lower tier books. Finally every offer is a lowball when your prices are from peak 2021.
  8. I have been picking up any minor to major Superman key I can afford simply because love of character. But now that uncle Gunn is writing, casting and probably directing a new Superman movie that’s even more incentive for me to keep hunting. At that price range( on the higher end of course) you can probably find a very low grade AC 242.
  9. 2nd Lois Lane cover, great story, I’m glad that I started reading GA Superman this year, low grade better than no grade baby.
  10. Sold a copy about a month ago, instant regret afterwards so this one is staying in the pc for good.
  11. Hey if nothing else it would benefit the books themselves. Maybe folks would restore that gold or silver age grail instead of allowing it to rot with rusty staples and mold just to avoid that purple label.
  12. I purchased a PO box just so I can still use USPS. Made the decision after FedEx forged my signature and dropped my AC22 at the wrong address. How did I find my package? By literally driving around my neighborhood. I 100% looked like a package thief, jumping out my car, grabbing it and driving off. Never again.
  13. Potential buy that I’m on the fence about, hate to be a bother but wanted to know what possible grade( based on the limited pictures) I might expect. Thanks in advance everybody.
  14. That is why I see no need to rush, I'm not even 30, not to sound rude or dark but all I have do is wait. Not every kid or grandkid in this country will follow the instructions left behind by the previous owner and will sell for pennies on the dollar. Will I pick up a Amazing Fantasy 15 or All-American Comics 16 at a yard sale? Probably not but the hunt will still be awesome. Of course this only applies if I don't get run over by a bus tomorrow.
  15. I love this cover…. can’t believe I actually have my own copy now
