  1. Woohoo! I've been wanting this piece forever, as I was a big fan of Peter David's Captain Marvel series and this was a bad assed costume redesign. I saw it a few years ago at Ross's booth and they were asking three grand for it, I think. I won it on eBay the other night for a third of that, and I'd put in a much higher bid so I was definitely the guy who wanted it most. I guess the seller must have taken a wash on it, though, that's too bad (I dunno how much he paid). Very glad to finally have a Ross piece in my collection, and a pretty definitive cover from one of my favorite series. http://comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=489862&GSub=45758
  2. 21 new pieces added to my CAF gallery from NYCC this weekend. 9 of those are additions to my Archers sketchbook, including ones from Billy Tan and Mike Deodato. http://comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=25149
  3. Here's the colored version of that piece. It's nice, but I think I'm gonna ask him to take some blacks to it to darken it up a bit.
  4. Wow, the guy doing my TMNT recreation sent me this earlier, and he'll be getting to the colors next. He works fast, and this was inexpensive, so I'm gonna see about him doing some more.
  5. Nice...one of the classic TMNT poses. Should make for a nice piece. Please post when you get it! That was the first TMNT comic I ever read, and I discovered they were so much more badass than that cartoon. That's always been my definitive TMNT image.
  6. I just order a cover recreation of First's second TMNT graphic novel (http://www.comicscardscollectables.com/catalog/images/tmnt-gn-2.jpg) The artist is a guy named Gregory Woronchak, and he seemed excited for it, even offered to do it in color instead of just ink as had been our original terms. So hopefully I'll have something really spiffy to show off in a few weeks. ffcomics, that Powell Wolverine is gorgeous
