    So Todd McFarlane announced on his Instagram(?) yesterday about his plans to create a Spawn Universe! The premier issue, Spawn's Universe is launching ~June which will be the platform for 3 new books: King Spawn, Gunslinger Spawn, and The Scorched. According to Todd McFarlane, this is a "20 year plan" so it seems as if he's attempting to pull off his own version of an MCU/DCEU. Even Donny Cates (among others) is confirmed to be working on some of the new Spawn material.     I appreciate the Man-Thing theory. I'm in agreement that maybe we won't see the Man-Thing specifically; I'd wager they would take some creative liberties and "MCU" it so to speak. For a split second I had my tin-foil hat on in hopes that it was Doctor Doom really pulling the strings in order to lure Mephisto out to fight him (again) for his mothers soul. More wishful thinking than anything at this point.

    Hi everyone. My name is Sean. I've been reading comics on and off for a long time, started with my brothers ASM collection; Maximum Carnage was my first run I remember reading, as well as Spawn. I've only recently, within the last year or two, begun seriously collecting them. Typically I find my self collecting whatever I think is cool. The collection is small and some I got for the purposes of moving in hopes of getting the personal grails, but the rule of cool is my motivating factor. In terms of collecting, I'm currently working on completing the entire Spawn run, ASM first appearances (wishful thinking for AF15 but I'm working on it), as well as FF5 for Doom's first appearance. I've also caught the statue bug to an extent and am starting to see how far that rabbit hole goes. My reading habits tend to be all over the place but Spawn is usually the constant. Along with Spawn, currently reading Doctor Doom, Eternals, Batman, Once and Future, Marneus Calgar, and Immortal Hulk. I lurked for a while but decided to finally post. I'm glad there's a healthy community here that can appreciate the joys of this incredible hobby. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
