  1. Nice show from a long time promoter (not myself) at a location a few miles NE of Akron, OH. I have about 25 boxes of mostly bronze to golden age. Please stop by and say hello. The link to my inventory list is https://mega.nz/file/BlRA1SzT#bfpuW3doRIKEjLHSZVERGi33kSKtpcEh5Tx2yq4jvEQ (one may need to copy/paste)
  2. Nice show in a suburb, Royal Oak, MI, just north of Detroit. Due to Covid, this show has not occurred for three years (since March of 2020). As an added bonus, the adjacent farmers market has some delicious baked goods. I am not the promoter, but will have a large 16' x 16' spot. I carry about 6000 comics, most of them golden and silver age. 3. Thanks for your kind words. Please refresh my memory as to the big trade we made and whom I'm addressing here. I once remember a trade made from someone from Indiana at a large show about 25 years ago, after which (maybe 5 years) I won a comic from an eBay seller (from Indiana) in which my handwriting was on the label.
  4. Nice show from a long time promoter (not myself) at the Westlake, OH location, about 20 miles west of downtown Cleveland. I have about 25 boxes of mostly bronze to golden age. Please stop by and say hello. The link to my inventory list is https://mega.nz/file/d4xUgKCB#xV5WUcmmd1uInqB5bDRCTuQekHH6lL2efmwdv2NSl40
  5. Good seeing you again. The lady at the front door mentioned that they got over 600 people through the door. It was a good show for just about everyone including myself. I even landed a half dozen early silver age DC comics from a guy who use to set up. It seems like being in a different location brings a different crowd with different wants and it paid off. Mark

  7. This is a nice comic show on Sunday the 22nd of March in Westlake, Ohio. There will be about 20-30 dealers. I am not the promoter, just a long time dealer (close to 30 years doing this). I will have about 25 boxes of about 6,000 comics from the golden age through the 80s/90s. Please feel free to come over and say hello to me (my sign says Mark's Vintage Collectables) and I'm usually located in the center section facing the aisle in front of the western (non parking lot side) wall. 9. Nice show in Northern Ohio, about an hour south of Cleveland. I'm not the promoter just a dealer with about 30 boxes of mostly golden and silver age comics. I do have a small sign- Mark's Vintage Collectables- so please come by and say hello. 10. At the bottom of the attached flyer is the promoter's website for future shows. There's one on the 14th of March in Columbus, and another in Canton on April 11th. My next Ohio show I'll see setting up is in late June in Canton.
  11. The lines started to thin out at about 1 pm; people did have to wait 30-60 minutes to get in; the promoter told me that only 200 people were allowed in there at a time. He's not aware if there's any "covid policy police" to insure the policies, but he does his best to comply. The show was solid for me, and there also were a few good buying opportunities. By the way, the Canton show in late June usually has a full bloom Cosplay contest, usually starting around 2 pm.
  12. The is a nice comic show on Sunday the 7th in Westlake, Ohio. There will be about 20-30 dealers. I am not the promoter, just a long time dealer (close to 30 years doing this). 13. I'm reading this, and so far only 4 out of 13 packages I've mailed during the first half of December have been delivered. I dropped off 5 pre paid packages on a Sunday 2 1/2 weeks ago, and the tracking says that they're awaiting receipt of the package (who would ever pay/print out labels and then sit on them for that long). I went into the USPS site, clicked on the Help tab, then Find Missing Mail, and then clicked on Option 2: Complete a Help Request form. I got a generic reply within a couple of days that they couldn't do anything since since they're awaiting tracking, and closed the case; I then got a message a day or so later asking for feedback. The best thing about what I did is that the tracking shows the package as being accepted (did this for all 5), and hence I'm not in violation of the Top Rated eBay seller thresholds. The packages are still stuck in limbo. I'm thinking it's a LIFO (Last in first out) situation, as my early December packages are at the bottom of piles in these distribution centers (one clerk from an amazingly high customer rating says that she's herd they're loaded up to the ceiling with packages.
  14. Nice show in the Cleveland, Ohio area; a western suburb. Usually has about 30 or so dealers. I am not the promoter- just a dealer with about 8,000 comics- mostly golden age through bronze.
