  1. I'm Australian and collected comics at the time the APVs were issued. They were newstand editions. Collectors back then bought from comic shops and hence bought US printings, newstand copies were frowned upon by collectors back then. I doubt high grade copies of any APV printings exist in high numbers due to the fact kids etc would have been buying the new stand editions and not taking care of them or even keeping them.
  2. I have the same comic and was unsure if I had the matte version or glossy one. Someone told me it's very obvious if you have the glossy version. I.e. It is very shiny. I think yours like mine is the matte version.
  3. Second up is a copy of Avengers 4. From current prices I guess this issue is worth getting slabbed in any condition. I've read a little about grading and have my own rough idea of what grade it will be. I'm just curious to know if I'm in the ball park so to speak. I will be sending it to CGC for grading. The inside pages are tan to my eyes, the spine seems in good condition, not splits and very little colour break.
  4. I'm a total noob at grading and Iam thinking of sub mitting some comics to CGC for grading (if grading is worth it). Could you people use your skills to grade my copy of Avengers 2 please? The inside pages are tan to my eyes, the spine seems in good condition, not splits and very little colour break.
