6.78 bags seem to tight and dangerous for me unless I cut a corner to slip the board in first. So 7 inch bags are so much easier for me to slide comics into without getting damaged. Im just wondering if thats how bags and boards work. 7inch polly bag with 7inch board? would that give me enough board to protect all sides of the comic? What size do most people use on their moderns? and do allot of you put it into a mylite as well? Im just saving up comics till I get enough that I can send in for a prescreen to cgc. so I want to make sure that I have them in as well protected until they get there.

I bought that exact book at comic shop in MLPS for 15$ only because I loved the movie and Lori Petty was hot back then. Never read it though, so I have no idea if it has anything to do with the movie.

haha but I would still have it like this then most i see with 1/2 to 1/4 inch white miswrap on the spine i guess. Thats a bigger flaw in my eyes a totally ugly miswrap on a this book

Holder is perfect. I think CGC just boiled it down to a manufacturing error. Flaw with the cutting, dull blade or what have you. They buyer offered me a full refund or $175 off. My biggest issue with Any Eternals #1 has been Centering, and this copy is Centered almost perfectly. I seen 9.8s with spine ticks and that would actually bug me more because they are much more visible. the seller had 100% positive feedback on multiple thousands of sales. With the -175$ off the price is equal to the lowest price #1 9.8 sold since January. So im all in all im ok with the transaction.

No thats all there is. the line quits there. its almost impossible to see unless you eyes are an inch away and its at the right angle. I thought we were able to buy grader notes? But I dont see the option.

good point. I was just reading about the dull knife incident. I seen worse corners being 9.8 especially with newer moderns. but you are correct, most 9.8 have some tiny flaw that keeps me on the negative side. Whats worse to me is a copy with 1/4" of white running down the whole spine where you can see the staples and still grades a 9.8 and that doesn't seem to bother buyers.
