  1. Ciorac- watching your collection grow has been one of the board's highlights over the past months. Thanks for sharing! astounding stuff.
  2. Recent pickup from October (thanks!) This is the 'not Nic Cage reader copy', which I can honestly say is my favorite GA purchase of the last 6 months! Looking forward to starting a run of Planets, now, hopefully some with spines this time.
  3. recent eBay win "In Fine Condition. Slight Browning of pages, Small spine tears, centerfold page unattatched, otherwise, no restoration, fully readable, and in good condition compared to other copies of the same issue. " we'll see what's it condition it is REALLY in when I get it in my grubby hands.... I bid on it as if it were a G+ book. So did every other bidder, apparently!
  4. here's my $.02. My GA DC collection! Going for a full Action run up to 66, in theory, plus some Superman covers I like...
  5. that's just gross. is there a story to how you got it?
  6. Thanks. Yeah, his scan was pretty poor. It's definitely rougher than it looks in my scan, though. Regardless, I cannot complain at $170. 'Good' is what it is.
  7. yeah, I saw that thread pop up and considered making an offer for the lot of 'em. That was a very cool run of books.
  8. re: #2, it's possible. My copy isn't accessible right now, so I can't check. I'd also HIGHLY recommend checking out the entire Pacific Comics horror and sci-fi line of anthology books, as they are all of equally high quality. Off the top of my head: Alien Worlds Twisted Tales of Bruce Jones Berni Wrightson, Master of the Macabre House of Usher 1-shot then from when Eclipse picked up the rights, Tales of Terror and Elien Encounters- though those are a bit hit and miss. Also Time Warp from DC is an awesome 5-book giant size anthology from early 80s. awesome collection you have there, by the way. Do you keep unslabbed reading copies as well?
  9. I recall them all being on the same stock until the book switched over to Eclipse with issue 8 or 9. Awesome series, by the way!
