Faith restored, especially with not editing this thread! 1. This question doesn't make sense to me? Non-signed books will get a qualified label. Signed books will get a qualified lable signature series. The way they are graded is the same (acetate cover + interior of the book... which after adding the cover means the original cover is now part of the interior). 2. I agree, looks like this may have been a gray area before but now is black & white to those involved. @CGC Mike's response above specifically says "The grade assigned will take into consideration the grade of the acetate cover as well as the interior book." That should address your concern. Regarding the status of the previously graded books... as of now (Aug 22), the census has not been updated. The original grading took place on 7/29, the correction with "Intrust" added was made on 8/12. So now we await the qualified update...

It was more annoying than anything else. Listening to the dealers hawk their books in Livestreams got old very quick. If I went to the con and didn't get a book I wanted, but somebody got the convention exclusive through whatnot, I would be pissed. Just like seeing it up on eBay only this is in your face and on much more public space.

It was highlighted by people joining auctions for the UF4 book and calling it bootleg, etc. The last time I logged onto Whatnot, it gave me a warning that disrupting auctions is reason for removal. I had not disrupted any auctions, I hadn't even logged in since before the whole UF4 scandal started. So they must be warning everyone.

And Whatnot can boot you from the platform if you question the legitimacy.

Just wait when they have to mark it Green label or NG because it's not a legitimate book. The 9.9 book sold would still have a blue label but the website will say something different. Also, the certification page says the Publisher is Marvel. That is INCORRECT if they consider it a blue label. It can be a blue label if the publisher is Black Flag Publishing (not sure the name of their publishing company) but if CGC is going to consider Marvel as the publisher, this MUST BE A GREEN LABEL.

That is the date they "updated" the verbiage of the book to correct some of the original inaccuracies. Interesting that the updated verbiage for the book in the Certification Verification is different than the original incorrect label. The books were originally graded on 7/29 I believe. The original date is referenced somewhere in the previous 180 pages.

There is a role for credibility. This may be a financial fraud analyst instead of a comic book or collectible fraud analyst.

Either you need to contact Aaron directly... or he has the easiest job in the world and will just respond "We have fraud but won't address because 'you know...' life stuff." Also, the person who wrote that text is not the CEO of Whatnot, that person is a YT Influencer who Whatnot may have employed or contracted with. I would say it's more like this: "fool me once, shame on the vendor. getting called out for being fooled, shame on the board for questioning our authoritae. must save face and say this was planned because we don't want the board to lose faith in our perfection, shame on the board again. must save face again so triple down until we can get them to believe it or forget about it. Unlike the majority here, I do like his art. He has drawn many things with the American Flag as well (e.g. the entire Carnage U.S.A. series). Also, some of the sigs are pretty cool. Take a look at this one below, the ice effect is very cool (pun intended). And for those who say they have never heard of him, he must be pretty popular because this looks like his own personal CGC custom label with his sig on it.
