  1. 1980s. A person traded 1 or 2 Dave Sim pages for sex. True story. Nuff said.
  2. I have original Alex Toth Models sheets for Johnny Quest. If interested, PM me
  3. I’m curious. How much stock do you take in what dealers say about their sales at SD? Or raise an eyebrow? I mean, who want to be known as the dealer who had a bad show? Do you think some of these guys bend the truth a bit to make it seem what they sold supports the business?
  4. Was Glen drinking again? I hope you picked him up off the floor. 😂
  5. Thanks. As I said before, I missed seeing a bunch of you. Others, not so much. I’m done with shows, specifically SD. I don’t feel the need to put out $10k for expenses when the same people and more can view the art on my site.
  6. You can’t fool me. I know that pup runs this show.
  7. The Boring in question was from 1949 and not a great example. My 1/2 Sunday is from 1943 and much better example.
  8. Just kept hitting that zero key All fixed. Burnley Sundays are more rare than Boring Sundays.
  9. Ladies and Gentlemen and all the Ships at Sea After more than 40 years of exhibiting at San Diego I decided it’s time to retire from exhibiting at shows.Lots of reasons, none of which I wish to explain.I’ll miss seeing a bunch of you. You know who you are. Some of you, not so much. However, as with the last several years, I will have a San Diego website update, which will go live Wednesday at 2:00 pm Eastern time. Not as much of an update as in past years, but will include excellent examples of Golden Age, Silver Age and Newspaper Strip Art.There will be another email blast tomorrow with specific details and links to the updates. Thanks for looking.Always looking for consignments.Best,Mitch ItkowitzGraphic Collectibles

  12. But how do you know when to draw the line? A lot of collectors are amateur dealers.
  13. I was the only one who had access to the cover. I never offered the cover to anyone but the person who bought it.
  14. I don’t think it’s sour grapes on David’s part since I never offer him the DKR #1 when I sold it.
