  1. Some spine tics, a few wrinkles and small stains on the bc, might be color rub on the front cover (?)
  2. This clearly isn’t a 9.8 candidate, curious if you think it has a shot at a 9.4. Only real defects are the breaks in the bottom left.
  3. Thanks, I appreciate tour time and answering this for me.
  4. I picked up an x-men book that has the recent custom label but when I verified the certification the date of grading came back as 2014. What’s the definitive answer for when a new cert number is assigned? I’m assuming it’s only if the grade changes?
  5. Thanks everyone, I was worried more about losing a grade due to the shape it’s in now. Appreciate it.
  6. I was able to get a decent deal on this copy of Daredevil 1. Granted, it’s only a 2.5 but as you can see the positioning in the slab is terrible, to the point that the back cover has folds in the top left corner. my question is, would this be a good candidate for a new slab? I know it currently says “tape on cover” and I’d hate to get downgraded to a purple label or drop a grade. Appreciate any input.
  7. Looks like an ink line bleed of some sort
  8. Some discoloration by the top staple concerns me. Think this will hit. 6.5?
  9. Thanks all. Leaving well enough alone and keeping the book as is.
  10. Thanks for that. Pushing to a 6.5 as best case scenario definitely isn’t worth it in my mind. Appreciate it.
  11. Pictures here, not sure if value of potential press outweighs risk of cracking it
  12. Helllo everyone, looking for some feedback. Would it be worth it to have a giant size x-men 1 cracked, get a clean and press and resubmit. Grader notes attached, don’t know if a press takes care of a “reader crease” or not, I know the foxing can’t be cleaned, just curious what everyone thinks. Currently a 6.0.
  13. Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Just recently received a few Silver Age books from my Step-Father but unfortunately most of them aren't in much better shape than this one.
