  1. I'm sending a heads up to the pressers and the CGC about this new Spider-man JTC variant. Several pressers, myself included, have had disastrous results pressing these. The ink is lifting right off the inside covers. And the gloss on the front cover is coming off as well. The paper the cover is printed on feels really flimsy. This comic might be unpressable due to production issues. Proceed with caution. Every presser I talked to used minimal heat, low pressure, and barely any exposure time. Parchment paper, acid free sketch paper, and Silicone Release Paper were used on 3 different copies I know of. Different methods all yielded the same results. Destroyed comics. It didn't matter. I had no problem pressing multiple copies of the yellow Wolverine negative variant. But the cover of this one is printed on a much thinner grade of paper. This is really annoying considering ReedPop shipped out a ton of damaged copies of this limited variant. Now, it seems like some major pressable defects being found on multiple copies can't be repaired. Specially, there's an over 3 inch dent being found on lots of copies that runs down from the top right side of the cover. I hope CGC can make note of this issue and take it into consideration when people send this one in. Hope this helps out. And if you've had success in pressing one please let us all know. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.
  3. Can you change the tier of category you want your comic to be graded in before it's scheduled to be graded? I submitted a comic to be Fast Tracked under the Economy tier. A Batman #92, 1 Per Store variant. I severely overvalued the comic though. It could've been a Fast Tracked Modern. I've been sitting for five weeks to get this comic back and it hasn't even changed status once. If I had submitted it even as a non fast tracked modern I would have had it back by now. Is there anyway it can be switched to the modern tier without it having to get to the back of the line? My last Economy tiered comic took from mid August to early October to get back to me. And that WASN'T fast tracked. I'm just hoping to get this back before December.
  4. If it's fast tracked Economy your gonna be waiting a bit longer. I have a fast tracked comic that was scanned in on 9/16 that hasn't updated in over five weeks. And the worst part is I meant to send it Fast Tracked Modern. I would've had it back by now.
  5. This is my first post. Please forgive me if I mess anything up. I have a Incredible Hulk #181 with a missing MVS. But I found and purchased a Shanna MVS from a Hulk 181 off of eBay. I was informed by Steve Borock that if I reattached the stamp with archival tape it would be considered a complete copy. It would just be marked reattached and that Page 10 is marred with tape. And of course it would get a lower grade. Now, I'm not saying I'm gonna tape it back in. But I might if it gets me a blue label. Does anyone know what kind of deduction would occur because of this? The comic was cleaned and pressed by me. No pressable defects remain. All other pages are undamaged. I have a good idea what the grade would come back at as a qualified copy. But a complete copy with that damage has me lost.
  6. I just picked up my first golden age comic. It was one of my dream issues. This might become an addiction haha.
