  2.  Don't think we can compare 8.0-9.0 ss to a 9.4 ss however 9.4 is definitely a step down from a 9.6-9.8 for this book with the volume of graded copies out there.

I do agree with Mar1979 that a market correction will start with lower grades.

So is this just an outlier(it was sold midweek and midday)?

  3.  I purchased most of my collection in the early to mid-70s,my MO was every Saturday morning 2mile bicycle ride to a stationary store with a LCS right next to it,picked up the new releases then go next-door and pick up back issues for 25-50 cents (sounds great but you can only imagine the big books they had on the wall behind the counter and what I could’ve bought some of those for… Ugh)so my grades are all over the place. anyhow what do you think ? clean and press or not, problem is the clean and press takes such a long time is it worth it and am I really going to get much better of a grade?

About a 3.5 right now unless there are interior stains or other damage to bring it to a 3.0.  Definitely get it cleaned, although I don't know how well the stains will come out even then.  Still, a very cool book that you should be proud to own!  ^^

Thanks appreciate it,I had all these books for nearly 50 years.I had a bunch slabbed already starting to get to be questionable ones in my collection lol
