  1. This stickered variant is fascinating to me because up until now we have only seen this particular DCU issue released as part of the slightly harder November 20 pack (brick). I have multiple confirmed examples of 20 packs which have substituted a Newsstand barcode when a DCU printed version was not available (as opposed to a stickered version) but never a 20 pack with a stickered version. This does lend credence to the possibility that a 2 pack containing Superboy #9 DCU may exist and I would love to see a sealed example, stickered or not. I'd also love to see a 20 pack with an obvious stickered edition included. Please share your 2 pack and 20 pack pics. I've updated the DC Collector's Set 2 pack Image Gallery with a handful of new sets and a few date corrections I've discovered between November and now. Nothing particularly groundbreaking just a couple of 2 packs, mostly of the non-DCU/ 2nd print variety, You can view it here,
  2. Possible Variants Speculation for 1995, Part 2 (April through July 1995) Pretty sure I haven't missed anything for these months, but please tell me if I did. I'll follow up with the last half of 1995 when I can. You can view the post on January 1995-March 1995 here. 5 months in 1995 to go!
  3. I would also like confirmation if anyone can confirm. My notes say it does but typically when I have one I don't own and I make a note it exists I add a link to my source with a photo or whatever it is for future reference. That I didn't move it into my rumored to exist tab makes me suspect I once saw a picture or something but it's possible I confused it with Robin #12 which I also do not have and that one does definitely exist.
  4. Potential Undiscovered DCU (or other multipack UPC Variants) January - March 1995 Do you remember a few years ago back in this very same forum we thought we were done? We thought we had found ALL the possible DCUs. We were wrong. They are still out there. Ever since I posted two different sets of possible/potential multipacks of DCU or other UPC variant editions for 1996, I’ve been thinking a lot about 1995 as well. Since my initial speculation posts here on the forums. at least a couple of my potential/ undiscovered variants for 1996 have been discovered and proven to exist (such as Batman and Robin Adventures# 11 Bat Silhouette UPC, and Detective Comics #693). If you find something on my speculation list(s) and want to sell it, please give me a first shot at it! As before, I am primarily concentrating on those titles or issues that have at least one “known” DCU or multipack variant. Now that we know of the existence of several Milestone/Worlds Collide issues I will include those series for your consideration, even if a Worlds Collide crossover issue for that title has not been confirmed. Dates are based upon cover date, not publication date, which usually runs 2 months prior to the cover date. More to come after I double check all my source material.
  5. Batman #515 DCU - Both a Deluxe & Non-Deluxe Version exists (one is embossed other is not) Batman #531 - Both a Deluxe & Non Deluxe Version Exists (I think both have glow in the dark features, one has Batman & Deadman back-to-back and the other looks more like they are fighting/facing each other) Detective #682 - Both a Deluxe & Non Deluxe Version Exists (one is embossed/ other is a DCU of the 'Newsstand issue') Flash #100 - Both a Deluxe & Non Deluxe Version Exists (one is foiled/ other is a DCU of the 'Newsstand issue') Green Lantern #81 - Both a Deluxe & Non Deluxe Version Exists (one is embossed/ other is a DCU of the 'Newsstand issue') Robin #14 - Both a Deluxe & Non Deluxe Version Probably Exists (one is embossed (DEFINITELY EXISTS)/ other is a DCU of the 'Newsstand issue' and it is on my list but I am trying to confirm) Superman: The Wedding Album #1 - Both a Deluxe & Non Deluxe Version Exists (one is the non-deluxe DCU that show Superman carrying Lois and the other is an all white cover with DCU logo on the back) Physically own all of the above except Flash #100 'Non-Deluxe/Newsstand" DCU and Robin #14 Newsstand DCU.
  6. Last known source of Impulse #10 DCU existing is from a Comic Invest article circa 2017. That said, the same article claimed both Azrael #22 and Batman: Shadow of the Bat #38 existed as well (rare), and we have finally gotten some confirmation that these two issues do indeed exist. When I started getting back into and serious about DCUs I was almost positive I owned a copy of Impulse #10 DCU (but it turned out to be a Newsstand copy, alas). I do still believe this one is possible based upon the other 'Dead Heat' storyline issues such as Flash #109-#110 which exist but are relatively hard to find (I personally find #110 harder than #109).
  7. I've had this one on my unofficial watch for list for a while (and if anyone has a copy for sale would be interested). I also have Batman Adventures #35 on my rumored to exist list, and I feel like visually the covers are similar enough that one could have been confused for the other. Can anyone confirm the existence of Batman Adventures #35? We know that BA #33 DCU exists (coincidentally released in the same "Best of '95" set that contained Impulse #3 that @archivist just posted a great picture of). We also know BA #36 DCU exists. We should probably all be on the lookout for a BA#34 DCU just in case.
  8. I took some time last weekend to update the DC Collector's 2 Pack Image Gallery/ Spreadsheet with all the newer 2 packs I've found or documented, to include a slew of less exciting non-UPC variant packs (mostly Knightfall issues). As always, if you have any corrections, additional information, or images of 2 packs to share, please let me know! Of particular interest to me was finding two 2-packs containing bullet logo UPCs, the first examples I am aware of that show these were released on the 2 pack cards instead of just in the Target poly-bags (and the 20 pack brick). There's also another pack with Zero Hour logos, and confirmation that Power of Shazam #12 and Justice League Task Force #32 were paired together (gold card). You can view the image gallery here.
  9. Agreed. My biggest concern is when contemplating sending a submission off to an independent pressing company along with your submission invoice under your CGC account and it getting charged a good while before your books would ever get sent in to CGC. I've never actually done it before but I had been considering it for a few books.
  10. Thank you, that does clarify it a lot more. When it shows up in submission tracking is completely reasonable and logical to me!
  11. Awesome, I posted about this one a while back. I found 2 copies back then, but does this make a third? Any idea how it was sold?
  12. When everyone got logged out this week and had to accept terms of service, etc. I wanted to get clarification on one point. The terms made it sound that your credit card will now be billed upon submitting your invoice online, as opposed to when the order is officially received by CGC and charged when the actual work of pressing and/or grading commences. Can I get a confirmation on if that is the case moving forward, or am I reading it wrong? Thanks!
  13. Are you thinking about BA #12? Because the September 1993 brick is the one with BA #12 in it. Seems like recent high sales were in the $450-$800 range for a sealed on on eBay but occasionally someone lists one that doesn't know what they have and they get scooped up for cheap. I managed to score a sealed brick for $85 and I know at least one got sold in February for less than $100 that I missed.
  14. I think it depends on the month how much they tend to go for. I personally would pay a lot more for a November 1994 than a July 1994, for example, just because it's one I don't have sealed and it seems to not come up for sale as often. The November 1993 brick you are talking about is the first brick chronologically to contain any multipack variants in the form of a handful of the DC Bullet UPCs-- there are no DC Universe UPCs in that one I think that one has come up for sale at least 2 times on eBay in the last year, and went for around $50-75. I think if you can pick up a pack for $35 and under that has stuff you want in it you are probably getting a good deal. Upper range prices seem to be in the $200 range for bricks that have more desirable issues in them. Here's the contents of the one you are talking about (cut in case the lure of the unknown means you don't want spoilers):
  15. Coming up on a weekend for everyone who has Friday off, here's another wall of books! Nothing new here. Don't think I shared this one when I posted the 9.4:
