  1. This isn't a comic but is insanely cool. It's a custom Alex Ross Batman 12" figure I bought on eBay. My digital camera is broken so I had to use the image for another auction, but it's the same one with box. This is by far the greatest Batman toy I've ever owned. Also, I think there is another one on eBay. It is worth the money if you have it.
  2. Hey Bill...with all seriousness...congrats! I know Action #1 is "the big book" for the hobyy, but for me, it is Tec 27. This IMO is the grail of all grails. Superman couldn't hold Batman's jockstrap ! but Robin could ouch Sorry, you have that wrong. Robin holds what goes in the jock strap! 3 socks? I'd say 4 or 5.

  4. Don't slab the book. It displays well and CGCs restoration check is not the end all be all of whether a book is restored or not. A don't remember specific examples off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure some one complained about them missing restoration. If someone remembers please refresh all our memorues. They do a good job and it is great for selling books, but for a private collection piece it's not worth it. That is to me of course.
  5. As long as you aren't dressed like a school girl, I think we're cool. If you are though, we must see pictures! Jeremy
  6. I was thinking the same thing about it being pressed. I think 50 years from now that Batman 1 will still be historically significant, but I'm not sure if the FF1 will mean as much except to collectors. I thing AF15 is the only silver Marvel that can compete with Batman and Superman Keys. This is just my thoughts on it. I agree as well. Superman and Batman are really part of the American culture. Everyone knows them. With Marvel, Spider-man is the only character that has reached close to that status. The Fantastic Four are a long way from there. Who know, maybe they'll reach it too. I just don't think so.
  7. Batman 1 for obvious reasons. I also agree that the X-Men 1 is overgraded. How can the pages be white with the cover that yellow?
  8. Wow. That book is a beauty. With prices being what they are I'll be more than happy with a 0.5 restored that has the front cover and the complete Batman story only. If anyone has that for sale, please let me know.
