Saturday 26th October 12PM - Creator Stage - The Secret History of Marvel Comics (Jim Shooter) Jim Shooter, Editor-in-Chief of Marvel comics from 1978-1987, talks about his long career at the publisher, where he presided over some of the most important comic book runs in superhero history. 2PM - Creator Stage – Writing DIE and Ending The Wicked and the Divine (Kieron Gillen) Writer Kieron Gillen discusses his recent Image Comics book DIE, as well as the finale of his and artist Jamie McKelvie’s smash hit book The Wicked and the Divine. 3.30PM - Live Stage – Drawing DC Comics Icons (George Pérez and Gary Frank) Artists George Pérez and Gary Frank discuss their long histories drawing for publisher DC Comics, where both have created extremely influential stories that have shaped those superheroes forever. 6pm - Live Stage – Mark Buckingham: From Fables to Miracleman Mark Buckingham, artist on many comics including Fables and Hellblazer, discusses his work on the acclaimed comic Miracleman, the story of which is still unfinished 25 years later.
