Was there any reason Ruins saw some action? Just people digging the story? Always nice to see a book heat up for its story and not a creator talking it up or it being optioned.

I actually sold a raw New X-Men #114 Newsstand for $85, a graded 9.4 Newsstand for $145 and 9.6 Direct for $109. I’ve still have a dozen or so raw newsstands.

If I remember correctly there were actually two copies and he kept one for himself and lied about their only being one copy. I don’t mess with store variants because they lie so much about how many copies are available and some even claim to destroy the bulk of the copies to make it limited.

They reject the initial claim most of the time and it’s the appeal where you’ll actually be heard. Unless you’re on good terms with your postmaster.

No, the post office is responsible, not the seller. Besides the buyer states he had this happen before which means they’ve likely pulled this scam previously.

If you constantly have packages mis-delivered a normal person would address the issue with their local post office and carrier. I would place the blame on the buyer because they’re aware of issues and did nothing to fix it. I think some people find a scam that works and keep doing it til it doesn’t.

As long as we’re not the ones buying garbage. I know a lot of sellers that take advantage every time some influencer or App releases new lists. They’re listing those books and making good money on what’s essentially drek. Most use the proceeds to buy books that have actual importance or meaning.

Is there actual evidence of these whatnot and other live auctions books being paid for is my question? If not I have a feeling these aren’t actual sales. I wouldn’t doubt shill bidding and market manipulation in some as well. I keep getting notifications from eBay for Torpedo Comics live auctions. I follow them because it’s owned by the drummer from System of a Down.

I can see any new characters possibly having and retaining some value depending on how they are received. I don’t understand why there’s any interest in current issues as it’s not the first time the franchisees have crossed over. Just people drinking the marketing kool-aid and FOMO I guess.

The WO#10 is really beat up but the others are decent enough.

There’s a difference between goofing and packaging something like mess. That’s an auto negative regardless of how it’s resolved. Other buyers need to know before buying from the person.

Definitively not block worthy, eBay allows 4 days for payments. The whole asking for specific packaging after paying however is annoying. That’s something you ask about before buying.

I’ve read Invincible and it’s wasn’t bad. It was nothing new either. The Walking Dead could’ve been better. It was just the same stuff over and over & it got really old fast.

You responded by yelling at him and calling him an individual_without_enough_empathy. I’ll also tell you most people aren’t going to want sellers garbage freebies. They want what they ordered not a copy of NFL SuperPro that either have to be recycled or take up space in someone’s collection. Besides the free book thing isn’t free. It’s a quarter for each book. Which seems to be the reason for your “freebies”. It sounds like a way for you to get rid of drek.
