will cgc have a booth there? getting a couple of my books signed

What would it take to get a John Byrne one? I know he hates that kind of stuff though. What's the most you'd pay per book for him? I'd break open the piggy bank for that knowing it would potentially only happen once.

I know lol. I had them prepped and sitting in my office. I was actually ready to send in way back and then decided to hold because I was going to combine the shipping with my Liefeld books. All good tho.

ugh. I totally forgot to send my books in for the Ross. Had them sitting on my shelf for a month. Wonder if it's too late?

I didnt know about that Uncanny 500. Just bought it. That's going to be the 2nd book I send along with the MOTU he did in 2022.

Now, what to send? I have a very dope Master of the Universe that he did recentlly that I'll be sending in. Was thinking about the Timeless Heroes 1 per store variant or the SDCC 2022 Batman. Decisions, decisions.

They'll probably use this new rule to help justify it somehow. "Based on feedback from prominent members of the collecting community, Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) is implementing a change that will reduce the number of defects that are identified on the comic book label."

Finally got this one back from grading. Super trifecta: Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Peter Cullen (voice of Optimus Prime)

Some stuff is worth sending in. I had an old Nintendo Power Magazine #1 that I wanted to have graded for possible sale as well as an additional magazine for the PC.

I've had two magazines in since August 2021, not that long, but noticed on the current TAT page that its an average of 255 days. Is there any reason as to why it's so much longer than a comic?

came in here to rant, but my two mags have only been there since August, or at least entered into the system in August. SMH.

This book went through three different signing sessions and still came back a 9.9. Surprised, but very happy.

They wont unfortunately. I wanted to to have a J. Scott Campbell book I have in for signing moved over for his signing and they said they couldnt do it. This was the response they gave me: Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, changes are not allowed on orders already submitted. I am sorry that we cannot accommodate your request. Due to the extremely high volume of submissions, it is no longer possible for us to divert valuable resources into locating and pulling orders already in house to make changes. Kind of BS, but what can you do.

I actually just submitted issue 1 of this. Found it in my mom's garage a couple of weeks ago.

yeah, I am. I reached out to them to see if they could facilitate CGC, but he's never worked with them before. May just have to get the sig and send to those other guys

In the same boat. Mine was submitted back on Dec 14th. Still waiting in received.

How can we get more info on the submission page other than "received" when items have been sent in. If we are submitting multiple comics in package, it would be helpful to know what books are associated with each order number, especially when that info is on the digital order sheet we fill out to send books in. For instance, I sent in 4 different books for three different signings in the same delivery to CGC. It would be nice to see what books we submitted under each order number on the site. I'm trying to track down a book now that should have been a part of the Claremont signing that's only showing "received" and hasn't moved to "scheduled for grading". This individual book information isn't even on the receipts that are generated and sent via email.

Anyone having trouble with the submission tracking tool today and it not showing your submitted items. I logged in to see my items that had recently shipped and its not showing anything on the page for me. I'm sure it's just an error becasue it showed all the items last week, but figured I'd ask.

No its not. he said that he actually did it at a lower temp because the cover had a more cardboard/glossy texture. he did offer to compensate or purchase the book from me, but I do still want to keep it. I wanted to take a day to think on it all.
