    If just the front cover I'd go 8.5! But the BC brings it down to 7.5 ..Again C&P would help

    Yes I agree. The newer the book the higher the expectations for the same grade.

    If nervous about that staple holding, if you put a small piece of scrapebok tape inside by that staple, I don't think CGC would hold that against grade as it would be to preserve integrity of comic. Other opinions on that please!
