PGM Amazing Spider-Man 194
LTA newb replied to LTA newb's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
Added the pics, thanks again for looking! -
Not sure if this comic is worth grading or what it will actually grade at given condition. The book is in nice shape, but someone with sticky/wet fingers appears to have lifted the black ink from cover or moved yellow ink. You can see in pics, with zoomed in image....

Thanks for all the looks and feedback! I did want to clarify one thing... There is no tape on the book and as far as I can tell, the discoloration along the spine is just staining from moisture at some point. Sorry if pictures are not the best!

This book is from the same lot as #110. It is in much better shape overall. But has the same dank, musty spell. I believe that is also affecting the staples, although both appear to be holding in this book. Again, simple question is should I grade? Thanks for looking.
-
I believe it's no better than .5 The bigger question is should I have it graded at all. The cover is loose from the book. There are at least 6 pages with PCS missing along edge. And severe wear front and back. It is also a 9 pence version. So should I grade?

Yes, that is what I was hoping for. A rough idea of the grade. I know you would need to see whole book, and hard to do in pictures. I just don't have a feel at all for what's what and the grading criteria appears to be somewhat subjective. FYI: I guessed between .5 - 3.0 for 110, so a 2.0 basically. And between a 5.0 - 7.0 on 111 so a 6.0. I don't believe the cover is coming loose from opening and looking through the pages. These were just two examples of extremes in the stack. The other was middle of the road. -
