  1. they don't sell the book any more Maybe they will in the future as CGC already graded though seems like campbell has a lot of books being sold already graded at 9.8 =)
  2. Ok. I am going to pay for a slot then on my next comic con (hopefully this year) to get another signature from Mr. Campbell to sign and CGC witness so I can get the yellow signature label. I finally found a post where they had the artist sign the comic again with cgc witness (artist signed it multiple times) and it was authenticated to the yellow cgc signature label with multiple signatures lol. Thanks for your help!
  3. In my opinion, being a coin collector myself, I don't see how anything truly one of a kind collectible would drop in value. The old always comes back as a piece of "art." If it's one of the last of it's kind, collector's are human and will have a natural desire for being one of the few that has it or chase after it. Others would be discouraged because there's only 1 and it's unaffordable. With comics, if you have an actual signature from the artist, I do not believe that it would devalue. I mean for instance, if you had a comic from Stan Lee, do you fee1l like those comics would devalue with the movie industry and all making amazing remakes of super hero movies nonstop? Or do you think that they will replace the original spiderman with a cyborg spiderman or new improved version that the original ones will just be forgotten? Humans love history and owning a piece of history is like a silly accomplishment feeling that doesn't really go away imo (in my opinion). I used to think that going on vacation to Rome to see the sights is the same as VR in Italy. However, when I experienced both, meh, not so much. Same with comics. I can see the comic book online and print it out in my color printer but a signed one authenticated? No, I don't think the value with devalue. Speaking of which, I do believe devalue does happen though if it's over valued in the first place (See Pokemon PSA 10 1st Edition Squirtle, after Youtube videos etc. jumped the card to $3k, it's now dwindling down to $2k as demand drops but imo it's because it was overvalued at $3k. I mean, I bought that card last year for $200 and am scratching my head on that still to this day).
  4. Hi! I have a J. Scott Campbell comic with Stan Lee's signature on it but I also want to get Mr. Campbell's signature on it too (yeah I know lol, I need to get his signature too). It currently has a CGC Signature Series Yellow Label 9.8 (see photo). I did find that I can do that as long as I let someone at CGC booth know at a convention and they will remove the label so that Mr. Campbell can sign it. That led me to a curious question about grading guarantee if there are any. If somehow the magazine gets bent etc., CGC would change the grade that it has, correct? If that's the case, what if through time, the comic somehow gets damaged through time say 100 years the colors fade? Does it have to be resent to get regraded?
  5. Hi! I used to collect coins with PCGS and there was always competition with NGC. In the coin collecting world, PCGS had a reputation for being more strict in their grading process than NGC. Is that the same with with CGC and CBCS? Which one grades easier? Don't want to start anything, simply just for learning purposes for myself and curious which label is collected more in the comic book world. Thanks again for your expertise opinions! Web master, if I am not supposed to post this, please let me know or just delete the thread. Thank you!
  6. I cannot just pay at a Convention for the author to sign it again with CGC witnessing to get the CGC Signature Yellow Series Label? So the result will be I would have 2 of the same author's signature on the comic. Or is that weird to ask lol. I read somewhere back in 2019 with CGC they were doing some authentication label to get a CGC Signature qualified without witness. Is that the green label you are talking about? If I cannot do the getting another signature to have 2 of their signatures on the comic, for the green label do I have to send in the Certificate of Authenticity to get the green label? Thanks for your feedbacks And thank you for not judging me asking such a noobie question. I couldn't find the answer to the getting 2nd same signature at a convention to qualify for the yellow CGC Signature Label and I feel like it was a silly question to ask.
  7. I bought a few Campbell comics (Incoming and some other variants) that were purchased signed with COA. I read that I can only get the green label for these and not the CGC signature witness yellow label holder. I was wondering, if I get the artist to sign again at a comic con with CGC there to witness, can I get the yellow CGC signature series holder? Thank you community for your input! EDITED: Googled some of the answers for the other questions I had. Could not find an answer to the above question though..
