  1. The book will not eat itself. Books will last for years in nothing but a Mylar and a backing board. The environment in which the book stored is more crucial to page quality longevity than microchamber paper. The point of mcp is to primarily trap the off gassing of the Barex, not the book. That's not true at all - barex is completely inert. The mcp is there to absorb the off-gassing from the paper. I disagree.

  3. Judging by trying to read this entire post, you might have way bigger problems than pressed comic books. Jim Perhaps English wasn't his first language. Not to mention the fact that people who are born deaf or with severe hearing problems don't exactly type all that well either. Just a thought.
  4. I will be once my year subscription runs out with GPA if, GPA is not reporting on all slabs. So you'd give up a service that doesn't include the "other" companies, but has 12+ years of data from a multitude of sales platforms and switch to a service that has less than 2 years of data collected solely from eBay? Unless you buy and sell mainly estoic Golden Age books or follow pedigree sales, how relevant is ten year old data when the majority of sellers refer to the last sale or the 90 day average?
  5. GoCollect is $5.99 a month. Enter the 30 Day Free Trial code from the banner ad at the top of the page and give it a try. I like it.
  6. You scared him Probably fled from the red pants. I can post PM send by smoke signal email you the url to the offending chat board.
  7. Link.
  8. How does Arch know that? All 600 folks complained, of course, which is the only reason they look at private messages. OR timern posted it himself elsewhere and I stumbled across it while verifying what exactly was being spammed. Honestly, guys... we shouldn't waste all that tin foil. Stupid, on all sides. However, I'm sure someone somewhere was itching to find the perfect scapegoat/example/sacrificial lamb.
  9. Yes indeed, that’s the car some people refer to as Christine. 208,000+ miles and still running strong. It just seems to have problems with comic events. She tried to kill Chromium and GACollectibles.
  10. A tear (rip), typically on the cover, that has been... wait for it... sealed.
  11. Is that still Christine?
  12. I was just showing you how it's done.
  13. Who are you trying to fool? You are always bitter. per PM
  14. I guess I get to ask the question again, what state (or states) do you practice law in? Did I claim to practice law somewhere? Your understanding of contract law is asininely wrong yet you spout off your knowledge as fact "I think that any tribunal..." So yes its upsetting to me (who spent years concentrating on studying contract/corporate/sales law) to listen to someone whose legal knowledge is based off watching some episodes of law and order (or maybe Perry Mason not sure how old you are) who thinks they know how the law works. Sadly for some reason everyone thinks they are a lawyer. Do me (and the other boardies who are attorneys) a favor and don't say things like "Basically Dan entered into two contracts and defaulted on one of them" until you're actually admited to practice law in at least one state. Ok, IMO, Dan entered into two contracts. One with Tranny and one with Joey. “Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.” ~ Mark Twain
  15. He can frame your apology and set it right next to his Daredevil #1... Oh, wait...
