  1. I’m not sure when these reprints were made. Possibly the nineties…? Anyone know for sure?
  2. Silver Age in Queens. JHU Staten Island. Some newer ones in Brooklyn
  3. Holy Moley. You gotta message me the detes! Congrats! Amazing run!
  4. Wow! Congrats! What are the other issue numbers? Where’d you get em? How much? Why is the sky blue? Where do butterflies go when…
  5. WUT? Did I know you scored a YM #25? Did you show it already and I forgot...?!? Way to go!
  6. Love these. I wouldn’t call it a title change but it’s definitely a transition issue. Glad you found em!
  7. I used to wonder why I virtually never see this one… till I saw the story about the con. Very tough book.
  8. Or… the mags that had Dredd’s actual first appearance are… To wit, you haven’t discovered them yet.
  9. Thanks for this. I think it would be a great benefit to everyone if you also added sales histories to your already amazing wealth of information about every book…
  10. Sorry, I realized too late people might think I was claiming preview images don’t “count.” I meant there’s actually earlier…
  11. Cool. Congrats. I’m not aware of any authoritative source saying he did the cover, which looks different from his style as seen in the interiors.
  12. Maybe it's me but I've been seeing more errors than ever in this year's Overstreet. It's not just blatantly missing books that should've been broken out years ago. It's literally screwing up the title alphabetization on multiple occasions. And now I just hit Sonic Disruptors. Which are apparently worth $10 in near mint. Each. It kind of kills me to see this. The way the book is formatted and the price guide is constructed is probably impenetrable to people new to the hobby. AND it's giving bad information. Sad. And with a year to put together each new edition (with the benefit of half a century beforehand) it's just really not excusable. Maybe the new digital service will yield enough community input and feedback to straighten things out for next year's edition. I hope.
  13. If they put it in their window it might still be faded. What’s their price?
  14. It’s pretty rare. What are they asking and what’s the condition? Sometimes shops let their books get sun-faded…
  15. If only there were an internet.
  16. They’re quite rare but not impossible, I’d say. There’s a whole realm of Miracleman/Marvelman-adjacent titles that are undervalued that a few folks out there (ahem) are happy to pick up when opportunity strikes. Nice going!
  17. “That cartoon guy” is Plas’s longtime sidekick, Doiby Dickles, IIRC.
