  1. Another raw, in apparently worse condition, just sold for $610. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224901609413
  2. I see a rare, TOTALLY UNDERVALUED, Alan Moore story in that mix...
  3. If you keep a saved search going on ebay for it, something should pop up. They're not super super rare...
  4. You picked a non-key over a classic cover/first appearance of a major Spider-Man/Daredevil villain and you’re blaming the publisher?
  5. Robin says later that the Teen Titans formed later. Plus, I believe Avengers 1 mentions the phrase “Avengers.” And both OPG and CGC have come around on other mistakes. So, we’ll see!
  6. Hulk 197, Richard Dragon 18, Weird Mystery 18. Others, too, I'm just blanking atm.
  7. Minor, arguable caveat to this. Marvelman had a quick cameo in the program for a UK comic convention, Comics 101, in the 1970s. So, technically, a Bronze Age Marvelman appearance! And by creator Mick Anglo! 8. You should research the difference between absolute and relative. Marvel appreciating faster doesn’t mean DC is dead. Marvel is hot because of movies and TV. Lots of DC are appreciating, too. Because of comic collectors.
  9. Right. Lotta people wishing Batman 227 was Iron Fist and Superman 233 was Namor.
  10. Trying to think of what happens to the value of stuff after the consensus is that it’s not collectable. #Comics
  11. Tough to get book recommendations when reading comprehension problems are so prevalent…
  12. Both. People read it and realized that the name might have debuted earlier, but the character first appeared in 83.
  13. Back when consensus was still 81 I read the Sgt. Rock Archives and thought it was clearly 83. Years later, the market shifted to reflect that.
  14. It’s wild that you think this is a reflection on him rather than on you.
  15. Yes. See: Marvelman and V For Vendetta. Moore was going to happen with or without Swamp Thing.
  16. I’d say New X-Men was singularly successful, but O’Neil’s writing was more influential. So many others followed in his footsteps. Frank Miller surpassed him, but was standing on his shoulders.
  17. Kind of undermines the argument that he’s the most popular when you don’t get his name right.
  18. Coming out is personal/emotional growth.
  19. #winning (can’t wait for you to get into DC war!)
  20. NTT 24 was probably the hottest book DC put out that month. No one cared about MOTU.
