  1. X-MEN #1 3.5 asking $13,500. HULK #1 2.0 asking $13,500. I am in Los Angeles. Cash only. Willing to drive or fly to you with book to hand deliver. PM me with your location. Will add the Hulk back cover soon. No returns on these slabs.
  2. Just won the CL auction for the other Hulk 1 2.0 (white pages). I have only two books in my collection...X-Men 1 3.5 (purchased in summer 2020 as a 2.5 for $4900; had it cleaned and pressed with Susan at Resto Labs, graded up to 3.5), and now this Hulk 1
  3. I was actually going to bid up to 18,000. Overpaying just to secure a good copy of the book. Kind of relieved I didn’t. It was a great copy though, cover at least. The 2.0 on EB for 12,399 got nabbed a few days ago too
  4. Gotcha! What’s your guess on what it will go for?
  5. I’m not sure if we’re supposed to share grader’s notes, so all I’ll say is ‘whole book soiling’
  6. Any guess/hunch as to what the CVA book will go for? 👀
  7. Thank you bro! Appreciate your knowledge. Good luck on your quest for the Hulk Grail 👍🏾🍀
  8. I appreciate that information. I will look into GPA. There are also two 2.0 copies in active auction on ComicLink as we speak. I’m considering each of the three books, depending on the two auctions play out; particularly the one ending first, which shows very well in the slab. The other book on CL has white pages, but is munched a bit on the front cover. Yes, the $12,399 seems high, which is likely why it hasn’t moved. But the low number of low grade copies available and the recent inflation of Marvel silver age comics makes it confusing to assess. Not sure if Hulk 1 has appreciated according to the recent inflation as say XM1 and some others.
  9. I see. That’s great education for me, thank you. I appreciate your guidance.
  10. Thank you Pantodude. I appreciate your detailed help response. If you look more closely at the advertising on his ebay listings, you’ll find the name of the business, Atlanta Classic Comics, and their website. I searched for reviews of this business. Some people in the reviews claim they gave the owner their entire collection to sell and never saw a penny of it, and that he stopped communication. I appreciate your help with the photos. The glare minimization makes total sense to me. Appreciate your time.
