  1. Very sad news, I just got it today... I was exchanging a few messages with Rich earlier 2023, about some WDCS he owned, very kind person. I understood he was having some health issues... R.I.P.
  2. I think the price is good for one of the Top ones. No copy have been ever certified more. I personally love this book as the Bubble Pipe, but indeed they are both just reprints, so content-wise not that important. Beside that, these covers are great. I always wondered from which strip this one has been taken... I looked all of them from Taliaferro, but no luck. Here my copy:
  3. Here my Cheerios Y set with envelope. Got a few years ago and the only set I have so far.
  4. And here another nice book from Barks, that I always loved, but it's not easy to find one at an affordable price: March of Comics 20. This one missing a piece on front low-right and the back cover not great, however it can fill the hole for the time being.
  5. Here an early DD... nice album with many Fantasia production pictures.
  6. WOW! I feel lucky I've got my copy of "Bubble Pipe" years ago, when these crazy prices around Ducks were not there. However, 4K+ for such a copy looks not justified to me. Still, historically it's an important one (first DD and first comic with Walt Disney on cover, although it just reprints 1936-37 strips), so its value may probably go up little by little. BTW, one of my all-time favorite covers.
  7. I see it's the right moment to share my last 2 books. They both have some restauration, as color touch mainly, but they both look nice. The FC 9 stays very flat and brilliant, while FC 29 shows a bit more the age. However, I'm so happy for having got them and together with FC 9 I also made a new friend (the seller!).
  8. Nice one, indeed! All in all, MMM covers are always great piece of art!
  9. IN most cases it's Hank Porter, isn't it? Not too bad, but Barks was from another planet...
  10. I fully agree with you. The rise is especially for medium/high graded, while the others are still "cheap". It's not just about Barks art, but on every Disney comics right now. It will end up soon, I'm sure.
  11. Interesting, I'm not sure when Porky appeared...
  12. Have to say even mine I paid little money. The seller was not really aware about it, still happens from time to time
  13. and here the page inside MMM #1 with the original drawing:
