  1. Is the URC blunted or just curved over. If it's still there and can be pressed flat that will improve the grade greatly. At about an 8.5. If the corner is there and can be fixed it can be a 9.2.
  2. Not foxing but more of dust/ sun shadowing. I have a youtube video when I got the books back. IIRC there was 1x7.0, 1x8.5, and the other 20 were 9.0 and up. But from the front I was hard pressed to tell the difference between the 7.0 and a 9.6. I can share the video if you're interested and it's kosher.
  3. I hope I'm mistaken but I see some dust shadow on the top of the back cover. With that and the micro tear I'm in the 8.5-9.0 range. Thanks for sharing!
  4. I've graded about 20 UXM 221s and that's probably around a 8.0 IMO. Good luck!
  5. Playing along with the home game I was all over the map. I got a total of 3 points for round 2 but averaged 13 points the other days. I tend to undergrade low books and overgrade high books. Lesson learned and a lot of fun to play along.
  6. 8.5 The one tick is pretty bad. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Maybe I'm underestimating the hit from the crease on the BC but I'm more in the 7.0 range. I may be a little generous.
  8. I'm around a 8.0 with maybe a 8.5 if it cleans up well. Good luck!
  9. Grades are in. I have one Qualified and 2 Restored labels. Am I doing it right?
  10. The notes don't focus on the spine so the defects may be elsewhere. I can't really see through the slab for other defects.
  11. I agree that the grade seems super harsh and I couldn't see any bends or creases but the photos of the book before were not great for assessment. Sorry for the grade.
  12. It looks good but the fuzziness and shadows on the pre pictures make it tough to see. I would hope it be in the higher 9s. I'm assuming since you are posting it after-the-fact that it was either a bit higher or lower than you expected.
  13. I need better pictures to really give an assessment. I can't see the deep crease on the spine. It appears as a color-breaking tick. Overall, it looks sharp but I can't give a precise grade and am gonna say 9.0+.
