  1. Thanks Paul! That's actually what I ended up doing... and CGC has already graded it!! Thanks for the assist!
  2. Just picked up a couple copies of the Paradigm Trigger Lugia 325/S-P promos for the PC, and noticed one of them does not have a texture layer. Anyone else see this kind of error? Advice for error submission would be great so that if I send it in alone it does not get lumped into the normal textured version? Pics attached for preview.
  3. Agreed! I actually have a stack of 9.5s right now I strongly feel need to be regarded at this point.
  4. No. Can’t see the images. The cards were finalized and shipped on (6/11). My older (11/3/20) submission with a similar shipment link tracking issue DOES have photos.
  5. Some of my recently graded cards! Finally completed my Gem Mint Pokémon Card Festa Full Art set (2014 - 2017)!!!
  6. I have a similar issue with a recent submission of mine. It’s not the first time either. I’m not sure what the cause is but I’m confident the cards are on their way back since the last time this happened I did receive the cards.
  7. Mine is an Economy (17 cards w/ sub grades) received 1/5/21 - still no movement as of today (4/29/21). Optimistic the finally catch up to our orders!
  8. Hey! I just sent off cards for "economy" grading on 30 Dec 20, they arrived at CGC yesterday (4 Jan 21), and they have already shown up in my account as "received" today 5 Jan 21. Like you mentioned It seemed extremely fast compared to some of my orders I sent off in Nov 2020, which was great to see. So not sure if I got lucky with their receiving department, or they somehow are still validating your cards you submitted back on 12/23. Were the cards you submitted unique? I know when I submitted some of the Charizard Illustrator cards back in early November I was the first to submit to CGC so it took some time to get them received - which I believe is due to them conducting research on the card - and unfortunately those same cards are still in the "received" status and have been since 12/3. But I'm excited to finally see how they grade! Best of luck with your order!
  9. The ink does look pretty thick for the one on the left AND a bit darker all around! But the lack of visible holo may just be lighting in the picture. Like Icemann said, if there is no holo effect, then it's most likely fake in this case. I think more pictures are needed to really tell from looking at it online... At first glance though, you can tell something seems off.
  10. I think FearlessPC is pretty spot on, except I think the centering will probably come in around the 8 mark - anything lower and I think CGC considers it OC. Even the OC Lapras I attached has a centering of 8 in the CGC database. Overall, as long as the card doesn't have major scratches, minor creases, or dirt/stains you should be fine. Like others have said, it's 1st Edition, so it's probably worth grading anyway... If I had to guess, based on what I can see, I would say a 7 to 7.5. Maybe a 6.5 if there is something we cannot see. Best of luck with grading! Let us know what happens. -Poke Rogue
  11. Like @EdisonS said, you only need to do "bookends" with the cardboard. No need to put a piece in between each card. I attached a picture of how I submitted my last order. Notice I have 2 separate tier types. Not sure if CGC likes it this way but I feel it helps sort the cards. Also you will see I rubberband the cardboard AND a packing slip to each stack on top of adding in one for the entire order itself. Last, to give an idea of turnaround times. The 27 Economy was received by CGC on 25 Oct 2020 and done grading and shipped back as of today (28 Oct 2020) - that's a 5 day turnaround! There is no way competitors can match that level of speed and quality! CGC for the WIN!
  12. Hey! I'm no expect of course, but both look real to me. What makes you believe it isn't? If it's a matter of the "green" flame vs yellow, that is a print variant some assume was a part of earlier print runs (see link below). I attached a picture of all the Evolutions Charizards I have pulled from packs and you can see 2 green flames - the CGC 7 and the pack fresh on the right! Hope some of this helps. https://efour.proboards.com/thread/8851/green-flame-charizard I am sure CGC Admin will jump in here about what will happen if the card is in fact fake.. Probably just return it. Best of luck with the grading!
  13. Hey! I’m not sure about the address you provide, but I always submit my Cards to the following address: CGC Trading Cards PO Box 4701 Sarasota, FL 34230 I’ve never had an issue with that address. I’ve even sent registered mail to that address and everything has been received fine. As for submitting the cards themselves, I have been using semi rigid card holders by GEM shields (can buy from Amazon for pretty cheap compared to other types) to protect the cards. I also put the card itself in a penny sleeve before putting it in the rigid card holder. After that I stack the cards together in the order based on my submission form then I wrap the cards in their cases lightly with some plastic wrap for good measure (probably overkill but if the shipping package gets water damaged I want to take extra precaution with the cards). Then I place a piece of cardboard on the front and back of the cards and then secure it slightly snug with rubber bands. I also secure a packing slip to the stack of cards with the rubber bands I use. After that I put everything in a box small enough for the size of the stack of cards I am submitting and then make sure the cards don’t jostle when being shipped or handled via a small shake test. If they move around on the inside of the box when I lightly shake it, I pack more bubble wrap or paper in the box to prevent movement of the cards during transit. Secure the box (I tape all edges to prevent any potential water damage) and adhere a label and then it’s off to the post office as normal to get the cards shipped out. Make sure you mark the outside of the box if you use the express or walkthrough tiers since this lets CGC know to take action on those first. That’s pretty much it in a nutshell... kinda long winded, but I hope this helps and best of luck with the grading!
  14. Hey! I've submitted 2 bulk submission so far (one for 55 cards and the other for 66 cards) and both were received at CGC, graded, and shipped back to me in less than 30 calendar days. I request registered mail for returns so it takes about another week after CGC ships it for it to finally be delivered. Total time I would expect for bulk submissions is 5 calendar days to ship out and be received by CGC, about 30 calendar days to grade and ship back to you, and another 5 calendar days to get returned, for a total wait time of 40 calendar days is what I would expect for bulk orders as of right now. I hope that helps. - Mind you the times might be different the larger the bulk submissions, and depending on how difficult the cards are to grade. I have also used their Express and Economy tiers and their timelines are pretty spot on so far, if not much faster. My express for 5 cards was received, graded, and shipped back within 9 calendar days and my economy took 30 calendar days for 10 cards to be received, graded, and shipped back. -Poke Rogue
