  1. Punk Noir style Chastity pinup by underrated Artist Ryan Kelly. Real happy with how it turned out. Edit: just noticed this is a poor quality pic. I'll post a better one when I get home. Now posted.
  2. Could you repost this? (Not showing for me). This iPod theme is a great idea, and I also happened to commission Zatanna from Tom recently too.
  3. It's always really nice. I've always found it interesting comparing contacting artists compared to reps. Both have prod and cons, but it is nice to at least have a small amount of direct communication with an artist (although I understand that isn't always possible).
  4. That's awesome. Love the facial expressions! Did Dave do the lettering as well?!?
  5. That's an awesome idea! Glad he did it well for the two of you.
  6. Can I ask what he did for her? No pressure if it's too personal. But yeah, great guy to work with.
  7. Maleev is underrated in my opinion. One of the pioneers of up close and personal visual storytelling in modern comics.
  8. Dave did a quick pencil sketch of Babs on his instagram and I just had to snatch it up. Would love to see him get to draw a run for DC.
  9. Babs alert! Just got these. A rather fun page of Oracle and Azrael by Roger Robinson. Probably not a great investment per say but it's a fun page and it was on the cheap. And a pencil sketch of Babs that Dave Acosta posted on his instagram. Based on this I'd love to see him take a crack at the character.
  10. Hey all, I own most of DC's mistress of magic appearances and some original art too, but I don't have the book with this panel. I'm sure it won't be hard to find. Anyone know which book? Thanks a lot! And... Thanks again!
  11. Not the most known series, but does anyone know where any of the pages are from DC's most recent Manhunter iteration (the Kate Spencer version)? Some pages by Brad Walker are out there, but I am more interested in any by Jesus Siaz or Javier Pina.
  12. Love the film, love this art, and Brereton has always seemed like a cool fellow. My only complaint is this art needs more Keith David!
  13. Two of the best pages I own, recently acquired from Kyle Hotz. I truly believe the most recent iteration of the Justice League Dark is one of the best recent runs of a big two series, period. It shows in these pages by Kyle:
  14. Really enjoy the top panel and would love to see the story come to fruition. That said, the middle panel bugs me only because, as a Babs fan, I think Jessica Cruz's face here looks too similar to Barbara's in Paul's recent Batgirl run. Of course, seeing as this is an unused page it doesn't really matter. It's a pretty nice page still, and to me it would actually be better from an artistic standpoint if it remains unused (due to the character resemble nice) but on the other hand if it is used it would be pretty neat to see an unpublished page you own suddenly get out out to the masses
  15. Agreed. I love Archie Digest covers. I have never been a bonafide Archie collector, but the covers always give you a great idea what the comic will be like. I have always wished superhero and other comics would do this more.
  16. Thanks folks. I think late next week I'll send a follow up using the wixite site, but I'll also send it to the email address from the other site too.
  17. Thanks folks. I noticed Tom has two sites, so I'll try the email from the other site next (although it looks possibly outdated).
  18. Yep. I think so too, but I also paid $17 for it so I'm not too worried.
  19. I just bought this off ebay. I know, I know ebay photos!?!? I appreciate whatever insight you can provide though... Side note - the story in this issue is called, "Professor Xavier is a Jerk!" Thanks folks... PS: It was listed as a 9.0, which I doubt. I've got it around 8.0 but who knows till it arrives.
  20. I've always found this a little awkward... I don't like to harass an artist, but I also find sometimes artists miss messages and are actually happy I send a follow up. In this case, I sent Tom Mandrake an email five days ago ( Monday the 22nd) asking about a purchasing a couple commissions according to the rates on his site, and I haven't gotten a response yet. I'm not going to send a follow up this weekend because I think its too soon, but I might in another week or two if I don't hear back. I get a little antsy until a mutual dialogue is started. I'm also totally fine with a 'hey
  21. These are... okay. I am utterly neutral towards them. I think, if I found one I fancied on the cheap (under $60) i'd consider it an absolute steal, but if someone paid more than a couple hundred for one i'd consider them nuts (only in the realm of my own opinion).
  22. Very cool piece, and I love the idea of displaying the larger original page with both the issue itself, and the reproduced color page.
  23. There are examples of commissions later being used as covers etc. Has anything like this ever happened to anyone? It happened to me in a pretty unique way, and with my favorite character too. When Dynamite ran their second Chastity series, I bought some pages from the series artist Daniel Maine. I also commissioned one of the series variant cover artists, Catherine Nodet (super underrated btw), to do a commission of the character for me. Since it is briefly mentioned in issue #1 that Chastity pays the bills via part time burlesque, I asked Catherine to incorporate that into
