  1. In that case I would go 8.5 due to a little spine wear and the corner crease on the top left of the fc.
  2. i agree with @10centcomics . 3.0 lots of creases and tears, but no missing pieces except small piece on the inside page (2nd pic of inside pages).
  3. 5.0 - 5.5 due to all the color break creasing on the front cover.
  4. Is that staining on the bottom right hand corner of fc from the distribution spay, foxing or something else?
  5. Wow this is a really nice book. It almost looks like it was already cleaned. I can see 8.0-8.5 with the spine wear but mostly that 1 inch color break near Human Torch and Mr Fantastic's arm. Good luck!
  6. @Jeffro.I see a some oxidation on the bottom staple. Does CGC lower grade on that? I thought it was only if staples were rusty.
  7. @LDarkseid1 Where did you see the staining? I only see stains on the 2 inside pages that I added picutres on.
  8. solid 3.0 if you press out those creases on the bc and do some dry cleaning.
  9. is that water damage on the bc seeped to the fc too at the bottom? If so then I think it's 4.0 possibly 4.5.
  10. Has this book been cleaned and pressed? I'm thinking those "stains" might be dirt especially on the front cover. The back is a little blurry and hard to tell. If those are dirt it can be dry cleaned. A press will get out some of the wrinkles on the front and back cover. If that stuff is cleaned up I think you can get an 8.0 or 8.5.
  11. Hi I'm thinking of sending this in for CGC grading but I'm on the fence. I think it's a 9.0 but appreciate your feedback since I don't really know how much grading is affected by foxing/staining on the inside pages. See last 2 pages for stains of about 1/2 size of a penny. Also I tried pressing out those indentations next to Kalista's right foot twice (image #6) @ 170 for 30 mins and kept in press overnight (total 8 hours) but they just won't go away. But no color break on those.
  12. This is a nice copy. I say leave it be. Unless you want to improve the cleanliness because you're going to keep it. I don't think the amount of dirt on the book is what brought the grade down. From the notes it was the amount of creases, color breaks and the stain on the back cover. Those things cannot be fixed from pressing and dry cleaning. IMO I feel it would still be a 5.5 or maybe a 6.0 even after a clean and press.
  13. 5.5 based on the color breaks throughout the front and back cover. I'm assuming the interior pages are fine without any tears or major stains?
  14. Thank you for clarifying this. This is actually what I would expect and I'm glad you confirmed it. Thank you.
  15. Thank you for clarifying this. Can you provide some examples of past early access or specials for elite items and were they available during Conventions or via in-house? I'm still weight the cost/benefit of elite membership.
