  1. I know some are into the comic printing errors. I have an X-Men (1991) #3 interior page error copy on ebay for auction starting at $4.99 as I think it is worth at least a fiver..lol. Check it out here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266702211787?itmmeta=01HR5SYQD28PEJXDYC6W3TQK66&hash=item3e18b0cacb:g:t7MAAOSwvORl5Skh
  2. I'm more at a 6.0/6.5 as is. That FC looks pretty nice. The BC is where I see most of the issues.
  3. The new Edge of Spider-Verse #1A is basically gone already from eBay the day before release. Main cover features Weapon VIII 1st cover and 1st full appearance inside. No high sales as everything flew off eBay over the last couple of days at cover-ish price. Once the other sellers who don't have distributor accounts get their copies and start listing it may see a bump, or not, if a bunch of copies flood in; I don't think this will be the case as I think the Spider-Verse and related series fatigue over the past few years may have kept orders low on this. I hear the story on this Weapon VIII is actually pretty good.
  4. I had already brought this one up a few pages back but to follow up, this book is still going strong and climbing. 9.8 copies hitting $200+ and the 2nd print being a good snag if you can still find a copy/copies at an LCS. #2 also in the $25-40 range with a 2nd print dropping today, I believe. #3 is also dropping today and could be moving already past cover price even though it would have seemed likely that the market and readers would have caught on. Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees #1A: LINK
  5. It appears that even the USM 1 2nd print which I thought I shouldn't touch due to possible heavy printing has already started hitting $10-15 pre-release!?! It looks like Moderns Heating Up on Ebay might be pretty active moving forward in 2024. LINK
  6. Great, I wonder if I'll get my lowly 3 copies I ordered...WTF!
  7. Ultimate BP is already popping since before release. Reviews are not as good as the new USM reading-wise, though I'm sure the print #'s are also much lower. LINK
  8. Conan the Barbarian #25 (LGY #300) Mr. Garcin Variant (Vol. 3) Marvel: This was an open order variant that is not easy to find. Only a couple actively listed and some recent sales that are pretty good. The sale from notoriouscomicshop is $75 with 1 still available at the same price, though sometimes I'm wary of the very high sales from this seller that seem too good to be true. Try your luck finding this in the wild on the cheap as this is probably an overlooked book in most LCS's. There is also a King Conan #1 variant from the same artist that is much more prevelant on eBay with Conan on the other side of the connecting cover. I would say an easy $30-40 book in NM. Recent Sold: Link Available: Link
  9. Leave to auction bidders to hike a book up well past a BIN that is literally 2 slots below it in the search. This book is a bit different as it does have a custome label and sig, however, like you said, you had it up a BIN for less than what the auction went for with no takers.
  10. I myself had a very low sales 2023. To be fair, I do not list nearly as much as I could/should and have a bit of stale inventory in my eBay store. Sets are supreme for me at the moment for sure. As most know from experience, some books will sell individually for cover price, for example, but when a 1-4+ issue mini is put together as a set you can get a much better price for them as a whole. The issue for me is to finally get to the boxes I do not have fully inventoried digitally and find all the books to complete a complete set/mini, and process them for sale. This phenomena is especially true with anything non-superhero related. Horror, Sci-Fi and video game books are still always pretty underordered to this day making putting sets together very difficult after some time, even from the major retailers and larger ebays stores, alike. Some heating up books and sets to look out for: Resident Evil Infinite Darkness Beginning #1 TokyoPop- This book is scarce already. The issues from 3-5 have been severely delayed, and #4/5 were resolicited twice. I believe #5 will be a complete ghost right after release, and this will make a great set when it finally concludes. #1= $15-25 Link Conan FCBD 2023 Titan- The stand out book for FCBD 2023 is indeed Conan. Reports and reveiws online are nothing but good from the maiden voyage of Titan into the waters of Conan, and this FCBD issue would have been very under-ordered compared to the more mainstream characters/publishers. This book is increasing on the story merits of the series alone. Some sales are a bit low in the recent completed sales because of the seller not pricing higher and the book being scooped quick. $10-20ish Link Creepshow #1-5 Set (vol. 1 2022) Image- Not the best stories at all in this book. I read the tpb and thought it was mostly so-so. Still, the 1-5 set alone without the 2nd prints is already hard to put together online and in the wild I'm sure. Never underestimate nostalgia. $40-50 Link Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees #1 2nd Print IDW- The 1st print cover A appears to be going nuclear on this book. The 2nd print is already climbing as it too, was overlooked a bit. I would stay away from the #1 3rd print on FOC this week. It will be mega-ordered. I am still kicking myself after not ordering #1 cover A on FOC as I thought it looked promising. $15-25 Link God of War Fallen God #1-4 Set Dark Horse- No complete sets currently available. I have sold a set myself about 6 months back for between $40-50. A #1-3 lot missing #4 is listed as sold 8 days ago for $75! Easy $50-60+ set moving forward IMHO. Link Batman Robin Lives #428 Foil DC- Cheap copies are drying up fast with most sellers on eBay sold out. $2-7 over cover price at this juncture with a 2nd print incoming. Might be a good one moving forward. Link Batman Scooby-Doo Mysteries #1-12 Set (vol. 1) DC- Already on Vol. 3 as we speak. Vol. 2 is already drying up as well and sets will be doing good moving forward this year I believe. Vol. 1 sets do not exist on eBay right now except for a lone $85 asking price from a larger seller. Easy $75 set in NM IMO. Sold in past month: Link Only available set I can see right now: Link I have many other series and sets to report on, but will leave it here for now. Happy hunting!
  11. I haven't posted in a bit and see not much has been going on in this thread. Here is one that is heating up, and the 2nd print was on FOC last week: Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees #1 https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1312&_nkw=BENEATH+THE+TREES+WHERE+NOBODY+SEES+%23&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&toolid=10050&mkcid=1&campid=5338314175&_odkw=Blood+Commandment+1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&customid=1000
  12. The polybag serves no purpose but to leave indents from the seam on the back and damage the book over time. The fact that you are noticing bag disintegration further drives home the reason to remove all of them from their polybag tombs. The Combo Pack banner in the corner of the FC of all those books is what tells you it is the combo-pack, and not the regular edition.
  13. How was Knight Terrors as a premise? Does the Insomnia villian seem legit or a throwaway?
  14. This was a live auction which I believe ebay just rolled out that works exactly like Whatnot where the sellers are talking and moving around grabbing books, etc. I do not think that there is a sold listing to find as I just looked at ended/sold listings and there is no option to search for live auction results. I went into the room, saw the book at like $30, and bids kept coming in as the clock ran down. At like 2 seconds left on the clock a bidder would bid again, and the clock would reset to 8 seconds, I believe. Saw the bids hit $60, then $80 something and finally ending about a minute after I entered the room for $108. I assure you it was the regular Ramos trade dress variant, not the 1:25 virgin. I was looking right at the book for over a minute. That is why I brought it up here. Live auctions bring out the crazy bidders with more dollars than sense as they say. Now, was there a shill bidder or two in the room? Did the winning bidder actually pay? No one knows except the seller.
