  1. could be worse. i sent in a box with it clearly marked EX on all sides except the side that had the shipping label. and it wasn't sorted as ex and i hade to wait 4 months for them to open it and get it into the ex line.
  2. I would much rather have set standards across the entirety of grading. if a card isn't prefect it doesn't get a 10. Simply giving 10s to the top 10% of cards means you don't know the actual condition of the cards. you just know its in the top 10%. this is the FASTEST way to sink a grading company. the reason psa has become more strict because they do not want to be known as the easy company. the company you send your less then perfect cards to to get 10s. simply because the resale on them is going to be harder cause that psa 10 may only be a cgc 9 or 8.5. also sorry for grammer and punctuation/spelling... typed on phone.
  3. Yes I wrote EX on every side of the box. Unfortunately someone missed it in shipping. So it is there waiting with the regular order STILL waiting to be received. They said without the tracking number (which I misplaced after I verified the package was delivered 3 weeks ago) there is nothing they can do but wait until it is checked in...
  4. So i had an EXpress subition be delivered on 3/15. however it was not entered into system. I contacted them but withhout the tracking number which i misplaced after the tracking said it was delivered. i have to wait until they get to that days intake. so the wait continues...
  5. I have an express order delivered on the 15th. Currently at 12 business days is STILL not received yet...
  6. subgrades are never averaged. there are many "rules" using the subgrade that makes the final grade for instance if the 2 lowest subgrades match that is the final grade. another rule is the final grade will never be 2 grades (for cgc this is half grade so a 9 is two grades above an 8) above the lowest subgrade so for instance is the subgrades were 7.5 10 10 10, the highest the grade could be is a 8.5, however depending on what subgrade was the 7.5 could mean you only receive a 8. i do not know all the "rules" if anyone know more of these "rules" please add on.
  7. yeah i dont know HOW they miss big WK and EX labels on all sides of the box but they seem to....
  8. I understand they are backed up. However, if express orders that were delivered a week AFTER my express order was delivered, are being put as received. And my order is still in limbo it causes a little concern.
  9. So I understand that once an item is delivered there is some time before it is marked as received. Does anyone know how long this time is currently at? I had and express order delivered on 3/15 (10 business days ago) and it was clearly labeled EX on every side of box but it is still not marked as received....
  10. this is the trading card section... not sure if it was moved here but its in the right place
  11. Just got the card back no bends or anything. the surface looks good to me... makes me worried if this was a computer oversight or something.
  12. Hi so i had cgc grade a Charizard Vmax for me and the grading just finished. https://www.cgccomics.com/certlookup/3748240015/ I am wondering how a pack fresh cards received such a low surface grade of 5.5 when there is no visible areas that are bad? UPDATE: so I decided I didn't like the grade and i was going to resubmit it for a new grade. upon cracking open the case on the back there is indeed a crease that was undetectable in the case. this cease is about the size of a thumb above the joint. BUT this was a pack fresh card when i sent it in so how did it happen? that may also be my fault. As this was my first summation I sent my cards in Toploaders and did not have card savers at the time. the card must have bent while they removed it from the Toploaders. they even say card savers are preferred because they can more safely remove the card from the cases for grading. So while I did not cause the crease i am the one who cause the crease if that makes any sense. So this card will now reside in my binder as a reminder to ALWAYS SUBMIT IN CARD SAVERS
  13. my order which was received on 11/16 has just switched from scheduled for grading to grading on 1/15. went from received to scheduled on 1/5ish.
  14. you can always restart from the beginning and print the new packing slip. not fun but since the receive and enter them into the system when they arrive the first one doesnt matter that much
